| We will struggle to hold on to some of these players, how could Cambridge Crawley and Whitehawk have been so stupid? |

| Trialist keeper, Callum Preston played the second half, reports on twitter that he didn't touch the ball. |

| The actual score against these type of teams is meaningless. If we beat Torquay by 3 or 4 on Saturday, that will be grounds for a modicum of optimism. |

| Luton at home will be a stiff test and where reality kicks in for some. |

| i see no benefit in playing these sorts of teams myself, imo preseason games should have a step up in calibre in teams for each game in order for the players to gain some real benefit in terms of preparation for the new season, get different types of tests and build up fitness.
putting 9 past st blazey achieves nothing when reality kicks in as ss68 says right.

| I was quite impressed with the Bovey keeper, sign him up, better than our flapper in the first half. Stood next to the reluctant one, felt like asking him when the Mayflower replacement would materialise, then realised he actually hadn't built anything anywhere. So seemed little point. |

| To be fair last pre-season (or may have been season before) we were losing a lot of these sort of games so they must be an indicator of something. |

Under that fantastic individual, Carl Fletcher, we would lose or struggle to draw these games, they are for fitness and not really a gauge of how wellwe'll do. Torquay will be a test, as will West Brom. Not sure how good the (not so) "top" Dutch side are. |
