Amazed that Jon "Corporate governance" Back didn't weasel his way in. DA looking delighted about having to hold a pasty. I imagine JB still on the hunt for the club insider who is coughing up inside info [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| Away top looks decent and glad they have not gone with the standard logo for it.
Although the products aren't the best, its a nationally recognised brand rather than a small Cornish wood firm and a Plymouth based crane company. Also when they last sponsored us we did have some success so hopefully its an omen. |

| 14 years ago when the big red blob first appeared I had an exchange of views with Iddlesleigh Green on (the then independent) P@SOTI about how Ginster's logo was devaluing the Argyle corporate brand he was trying to forge. Apparently Ginsters had spent a large sum with marketing executives and the consistency of their brand was imperative. It was about this point in debate I gave up and quoted Bill Hicks.
Luckily a measure of common sense seems to have prevailed this time around. |

| Hilarious that they deem it imperative that they all hold a 'pasty', just in case there may be someone not familiar with the slop Ginsters churn out. |

| You would think that a Devon sports club would not want the Cornish flag and Made in Cornwall plastered all over their shirts? When they stopped promoting all things Cornish, did anyone ask Adams and Starnes why all the Best players have left? |

| So what was the major announcement that was ground breaking then? Hope it wasnt this as that would have been an epic fail even for brent lol.
Annoyed that Ginsters who's products i wouldn't feed my dog are back sponsoring the team and insisting yet again on shoving cornwall down your throats with their unique to argyle slogans. Also in the home shirt's case that bloody awful red bloob that stands out a mile and ruins the shirt even more so is back.
what i don't get is why Ginsters were willing to take the red bloob off the away top which btw looks mint may even buy it if i were to buy one yet wouldn't do so for the home kit.
how has the captain wankspasm taken the news? |

| Being born in Plymouth and raised in both Devon and Cornwall, I don't mind the Cornish flag at all.
Not too keen on the red blob on green but I do like the away shirt! |

how has the captain wankspasm taken the news? He was given the news by The Farm Fuhrer ages ago. They are both obviously fans judging by their appearances |

| Might have to take back my initial dismay with regards the away shirt - actually looks ok with the logo on, if it can be removed easily all the better but will now order one!! |

As an aside (without looking her up), has anyóne on here heard of Rosamunde Pilcher? Not as big a deal as she is in Germany. My missus had a great deal to do with the filming of one episode at a big house near Grampound she was looking after. They must have churned out dozens of episodes for the German audience that can't get enough of it. I guess it's all a romantic view of English country life. |
