Must admit it crossed my mind that there'll be some hearty guffawing and headlines with variations on the Brexit theme in various parts of the continent after that humiliating fiasco. |

| Just saw Roy's reactions during the game in a little compilation, if that brow wiping, handwringing, worried looking, head holding display was leadership you could have fooled me, I reckon he lost the dressing room on the coach journey over to France. |

| Roy had to go no question but those players need a long hard look in the mirror, atrocious performance. |

| We really need to accept, that since 66, we've done feck all and we won't do feck all for the very foreseeable future. Hanging on to the coattails of that memorable day has never done us any good. it just sets false hope and targets that we all know within our hearts we'll never ever repeat anytime soon. Now, let's all stop pretending we're some sort of superpower in the football world. We're not, and probably never will be again anytime soon.
PS: Well doe Farm foods..................err I mean Iceland! |

| Kick out all the old farts, disband the FA and take a look at Rugby Union and how they did it. I'm not suggesting or even expecting us to suddenly turn into Brazil (feckin lol to that) but we are shite, the prem is shite for English football, bad for all the leagues except the top one and should be centred around the national game. Anybody showing the slightest sign they are putting club before country should be dropped immediately and the next player on the list should be picked even if we end up with a team of lower league players, is all I ask is they play their best and bar a couple of players last night that isn't happening. Having a system that the players are familiar with may be a good idea as well. Despite criticism of players a whole feckin heap of criticism has to fall at Roy's door, six changes last night, six the game before and five for the first game from the last friendly. If he doesn't know his best team yet he never will as long as he's got a hole in his arse. Also what's with Sterling? Smacks of stubbornness, can't admit he's wrong. Rooney was having a mare yet didn't make way for Rashford until too late, why was Kane taking free kicks when he should be in the box? Why was Rooney badly marking a player in the box for their set pieces? Why weren't our defence first to the balls in the box and the second ball never had a defender near it. It was calamitous and looked as though the team were left to sort it out themselves, über shite. |

| Alan Pardew may be good shout, although I doubt whether the FA will look any further than Gareth Southgate.
Deep joy. |

| I don't follow the higher leagues enough to know who would be a good manager but in my eyes he'd be low 40's on a bit of a roll and really, really enthusiastic, probably a CCC manager on his way up, the old farts at the FA won't touch anyone until he's turned into an FA man and there lies the problem, old farts out. |

| Sean Dyche at Burnley fits your profile nicely. Give him a try, can't do any worse than the previous shower. |

| Another point is the German league is our poor relation in terms of revenue but much cheaper to watch and accessible to the common man yet they kick our arse off the park every time since '66" maybe money isn't the lynchpin of sport? Would our cyclists, sprinters and rowers perform better if they were millionaires who appeared in magazines, newspapers and chat shows? Maybe we should start paying our school kids to perform better? £1000 prize for the egg and spoon race and go up from there, maybe we are starving football of the money it needs to thrive? Perhaps if we paid them even more they would raise their games? I would start by paying the next England manager £1m an hour surely we couldn't fail? |
