Didn't he go to Brizzle Rowvers? You are right, but his name has gone from the update. It looks like he has never been here. |

| We need 2 x Defensive midfield/ centre midfield. Could do with McHugh re-signing desperately. I can't see Boateng joining again as I would assume Palace want him to play at a higher level. May need a winger too- Ryan Dow (Dundee Utd) has been linked.
Mellor has apparently been offered a worse contract (as back up RB) so I doubt he'll sign, but we possibly need cover there- Threlkeld would be ideal but I think he'll join a northern club. |

| A squad of 25 seems right too me for the season. With no emergency window so no loan signings to come in after the deadline so what we have that will be it till January so strength and depth in all 4 areas will be required.
the squad is orminf together but atm i feel we need more depth in midfield both centrally and on the wings. We have neglected that area for the past 2 seasons and made it up with countless loan signings who kept coming and going and disrupting the team as they did it. So i hope we invested in this area before August 31st if that is indeed the transfer deadline day.
If Mellor doesnt sign his contract, another right back will be needed to cover and compete with Miller. if that guy can play central too then even better to give us a little bit more cover. unless Del Bhey does plan to bring in another central defender to make it 4 CBS to compete with each other.... or nelson re-signs and he doesnt need one lmao.
Dorrel i imagine will sign up but i imagine del bhey will still look for an veteran keeper to back him and mccormick up while being the goalie coach mostly as dont forget guys no emergency window so it makes sense if the gk coach is registered as an emergency backup if one of them falls.
up front seems sorted too me if Reid re-signs lol then it will be our strongest area and with Harvey who i am mehh on to decide also we will have more strikers then we need which gives me the impression del bhey will be going with more than one up front next season.

| Matts gone, Brunt is fecked until Crimbo I'd lucky and until the new boys prove themselves I haven't seen anything to suggest we're stronger in the striker department. The goals dryed up alarmingly towards the end of the season del needs to pull a rabbit out of the hat again. |

| Half of this jumble sale of rejects is injury prone and the other half have issues! Adams will be the best manager in Argyle history if he can make this poor quality squad into a promotion outfit, in my opinion it just wont happen we will be nearer the bottom than the top. |

If he does get that squad competing at the top SS68 another club will swoop in for him before the season is out. |

Lets be honest Angers Adams is on to a loser at Argyle, Brent will never give him proper backing thats why all the good players leave, if Adams is succesful at a non ambitious club like Brents Argyle, give him the England job! |

| Little less than 6 hours left before Nelson, Reid, Harvey, Dorrel, Mellor and McHugh are officially no longer our players and have officially left the club. Of course 1 or 2 of them may have signed their 1 year deals already and the club hasn't announced it yet and will hold off till tomorrow to do so but i think the majority obviously rejected their offers otherwise they would have been secured by now.
Pre season starts tomorrow i wonder if we will see more new aces on trial and perhaps a new gk coach and i hope an fitness coach. |

| I think we have to expect those not yet signed up are history. There's no way the club would be sitting on the news if they had signed up. Not that I can see anyway. You never know though. |

Funny thing is you won't see anything yet because they haven't started playing. Both Matt and Brunt got ridiculed when coming here for lack of goals and being ''rejects''. RR got ridiculed and came good. Goals drying up alarmingly etc ..... They didn't actually if you break down into 10 game blocks. |

| Yes they did, we scored more goals than the opposition in the first half of the season and less than them generally in the second half hence our slide from top to mid playoffs. It's a fact. If we had a fit Roobs, Matt and a fit Brunty, hung onto all the best players, cast off the crap and added to all departments I'd be fairly confident of promotion, it's what any team which wasn't run by an idiot would do. Unforch we are run by Brent so well go fffttt and finish below the playoffs. Year on year progress isn't built like this. |

| The squad in full thanks to GoS: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]22 players, only 9 of which have played for Argo before (7 if you exclude Dorel & Rooney who have made 1 appearance each). |

| Just read the 18 comments on the Erald story about the reluctant one "hoping" to replace the Mayflower. Unsurprisingly 17 were critical of the one who saved us. The responders apparently don't trust Brent given his property development record locally over the last five years. Funny that! |
