They seem to have forgotten about Damien Johnson. But Huddersfield appear to be sniffing around him again. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]WORST TEAM EVER |

Who the hell is monkey heed going to put out for this one? Rumour has it, IJN/Ian/Eastleigh Green etc is bringing his boots, not to get a game you understand, just to get into the changing room, cause dissent amongst the squad, force Reid out, and take over the manager role |

Sign of things to come this season. |

| Is Naps allowed on the pitch as I thought he was banned for his threatening of an innocent steward "Don't you know who I am!!!" etc |

Enjoy the season... Indeed. The lowest common denominator factor kicks in again.A division above them, with superior crowds and a superior squad, which only needed minor supplementing to have been a genuine top level contender.Same comparison with Cardiff and Swansea, and as for Blackpool,well....All the excuses will come out in future"Yeah, but they're big clubs, better support, closer to the M4",all the usual intellectually lazy, accept second best hogwash.I find it very difficult to forgive and forget whats happened over the past four years and giving a semi decent performance in a meaningless pre season work out won't change my feelings.Argyle's squad needs at least half a dozen competent additions in order to even think about being competitive this season and i'm not optimistic that they will be forthcoming.Lets see where we are in September before getting all orgasmic-there could be a different type of "just got back" thread being posted then. |

| It's the mention of Bristol, Cardiff and Swansea that really emphasises our failure, or should I say the failure of those that run Argyle and those that have always cosied up to them. All three of these 'Westcountry' clubs have tasted so much more success in their time given that in reality they are almost doppelganger clubs to ourselves. Our squad has been pitiful for a very long time, in fact woeful, with a team spirit to match. The squad is now virtually non eistent, and yet some will never see it ... it's pointless in even discussing it with them.... you might as well insult their teddy bears. It seems the club will almost certainly lumber through the next season under dodgy administrators, punctuated with gratuitous club destroying moments.... wages will still be underpaid and while this will delight the mind numbing bucket rattlers, surely even some of the Aviva boys will eventually turn their back. Only a total boycott will save this club from a fate worse than death.... sadly the longer it needs to go on, that boycott is likely to morph into total permanent rejection of the club and what it stands for. Still, it's lucky we've got players like Simon Walton with the ability to hold a club together... a real club man if ever there was one. |
