You would never believe that Spieth of all people could implode like that but the 12th at Augusta is very dangerous hole and has been the ruin of many a good round. Well done to Danny Willett though,great final round deservedly won it,first Englishman since Faldo, and there were other excellent performances from English players like Westwood,Fitzpatrick and Casey which may augur well for the Ryder cup.Yorkshire seems to be undergoing a bit of a sporting revival in producing top class players what with Fitzpatrick and Root in the cricket,strong Yorkshire,strong England maybe-certainly used to be a mantra.

Great tournament for holes in one as well, the best of which was Gary Player notching one in the par 3 competition at the age of 80-hope for all of us but somehow doubt if most will be as fit as Gary at that age, he still does hundreds of sit ups per day and looks nearer to 50 than 80.
