Just imagine what all of that might add up to if he a got a chance with a serious contender... It wouldn't be tiki taka but it'd take some beating!
If he could pick from the world pool of players I wonder who he'd pick? It'd be interesting to find out! I don't think for one minute Pulis would call that a problem, he's done alright alright out of it; Horses for courses etc. Hes a go to man, think you're about to drop out of the mega bucks prem. Better Phone Tone. The bonus he'll gets from west brom for keeping them between 17th and 11th is probably phenomenal but it's worth it. |

| Leicester only had one shot on target tonight - and scored with it. I'd love to see them do it and they're in a fantastic position. City and Arse are too far back now, but I just have a sneaking suspicion that Spurs might pip them. |

| I've got tickets for Leicester's final game at Chelsea.
It will be very interesting if going into the final 5 minutes Leicester need a goal to win the league. One of those scenarios where the Chelsea fans will be wanting their team to lose so that Spurs don't win the league.
What price John Terry in his last game blasting an own goal with seconds left to the celebrations of the Shed End?
Would be great to see Ranieri lift the title in front of Ambramovich. |

| Really looking like only Spurs might catch them. Bit of a win-win, as either name on the trophy would be a novelty. Would rather Leicester but will take Spurs as insurance.
Dick, you could potentially watch Leicester win the league at Chelsea and then retire to the pub straight afterwards to see Argyle lose again in the play-off semi against Wycombe....unless you're planning a Phil Collins-at-Live-Aid-style helicopter ride to the ground. |

| Didn't see that! No pub for me that day as with the children. As you know I didn't manage to convince them to be Argyle fans. |

some will comment on them being the biggest suprise of all time, really ?
blackburn & leeds have both won the top flight in their second seasons up. forest one year after promotion from div2.
even watford and newcastle managed to finish second as unheralded sides......im sure even qpr sheff weds & soton have managed 3rd place finishes in the last 40 years...... |

Still a long way to go but if they do it, I think they will be the biggest surprise - certainly in my lifetime. Sounds like Ipswich in the sixties was up there but both Blackburn and Leeds had some form before their title-winning seasons in the 90s. Blackburn finished 4th and 2nd the previous seasons, Leeds finished 4th the season before they won. Compare that to where Leicester were this time last season and absolutely no-one would have foreseen where they are now. Forest, of course, went on to win the European Cup (twice) after winning the league - can't see Leicester emulating that somehow. |

| Leicester, joint favourites to finish bottom last August, winning the Premier League would be the biggest League Winning shock possibly ever, certainly in modern times. |

Agree. The owners may well be worth a few bob but the squad has been assembled on a relative shoestring. Ranieri and the players have done an incredible job. Ranieri is f@cking hilarious too. |

| You may laugh but there are similarities, in just 4 or 5 short years under Mr Brent's prudent, level headed, self sufficient tenure we've gone from potential non league to potential league 1. It doesn't get much better than that surely ? |

| Lester aren't my fave team but I'd be more than happy to raise a glass to them if they pull this off. They've already achieved an amazing amount I'd love them to win it. |

| It's a delight to see teams like Leicester and Totters succeeding with almost traditional English players like Keane, Vardi etc, playing in a traditional manner, in spite of the even more mega bucks and spoiled global mercenaries of the usual suspects. I think England should exit the European sport of tippy tappy and go back to basics. We could form our own league, and just call it the Football League. |
