Plymouth Argyle defender Aaron Bentley released by League Two club
CENTRE-BACK Aaron Bentley has parted company with Plymouth Argyle, the League Two club have announced.
Bentley would have been out of contract this summer and the Pilgrims have released him now to plan for his future.
Plymouth-born Bentley, a former St Boniface College student, signed a professional contract with Argyle in the summer of 2014.
Adams told Herald Sport on Thursday: "He's one that needs game-time somewhere.
"I have spoken to the player and something will come of that, possibly by the end of January."
Bentley had a short loan spell with Alfreton Town in the Football Conference (now the National League) last season.
His first team opportunities at Argyle were further reduced after the signing of Jordon Forster on loan from Scottish Championship club Hibernian on Tuesday.
