I remember being blown away by space oddity but it doesn't hold a candle to a lot of his other work IMO. I don't think it has lasted as well as some of his other work or has it been played to death?

Not one vote for "All the young dudes", even though Hunter's version was better?
Life on Mars was always my fave, but now I find out Huge Tw@ likes it I feel just a little bit soiled.
Special mention for him producing Transformer, my all time fave album.

I mentioned it on the news thread, it's one of my favourite songs of all time but as you say the hoople did the better version, cracking song though.
