| Carlisle Utd target new-year return to Brunton ParkHe added: "Phase one of the operation is about getting everything in place to be able to host a game. "That includes things from a health and safety and a football rules point of view, but also a match experience point of view. "We have got temporary offices down there now and as soon as the full staff are back in, they will be working from those. We will be setting up a ticket office down there to enable fans to come and buy tickets from Brunton Park as well as the Cumberland Building Society. Regarding bars and catering, we will be taking a view on that over the next two to three weeks on whether we can get back into the existing areas, or whether we need to put something temporary in. But we will have something in place on the 23rd if we are indeed back playing football then. | Carlisle United take up Newcastle’s offer ahead of Plymouth match
Earlier this month, Carlisle United’s Media officer, Andy Hall, said that they had been overwhelmed by the goodwill shown by the football community and singled out Newcastle United for special praise.
Hall said that Newcastle had offered strips, kits, training facilities and indeed anything Carlisle United needed for them to ‘move forward as a football club’.
Now Carlisle United have taken up the offer of using Newcastle’s training facilities and travelled over to Tyneside on Wednesday to use the NUFC Academy facilities ahead of their game on Saturday.

| Would really to see this match go ahead for obvious reasons. On a bit of a roll confidence up again and can see us winning in probable heavy conditions 1-0 or 2-1 Defence is excellent as a unit and you just cant see Lukey letting in goals at the moment |

Much interest in attending the Plymouth game Yesterday 17:16

Don't think there'll be as many as that. Only 1500 Carlisle and 350 Plymouth sold as of yesterday. I know of several Argyle fans who were going to pay on the door, who have decided not to go. The weather being the main reason given. |

| Substitutes: Reuben Reid, Tyler Harvey, Ben Purrington, Deane Smalley, Louis Rooney, Craig Tanner, Christian Walton.
Carlisle's 14-goal top scorer Jabo Ibehre not in their starting line-up. He is replaced by the pacy Derek Asamoah

| Pitch looking perfect. Steward told me the last time it flooded was in their PL days so would have been sods law had it done so when we come up. Skies clear too so looking like we're on with no probs |
