Di Matteo won the Champions League with that club and arguably a far weaker squad than the current one.

Meh. They are 16th but you get the feeling Chelsea have panicked slightly. If the reason Jose has been sacked is because he's fallen out with the squad, I'd say there was strong argument for letting him rebuild that squad rather than getting rid of him, even if that does sound a bit idealistic.

He done good at Porto, other than that he has had charge of the teams with the biggest budgets, Tisdale could have done as good.

FFS, John Terry was the last youth product at Chelsea to play more than a handful of games, some coach.

Chelsea could still win the league in my opinion there's not much to beat in the prem this season. hope he stays in this country the guy is a brilliant Manager, no one parks the bus like Jose!

Jesus chap, they beat Sunderland and by all accounts the Macams were all over them for large parts of the game, they will be better and they may even finish top 6, this is a a very lack lustre Prem, but they are not close to to top 4 material.
