I wonder if Iggy ever writes,
A baleful ditty on Friday nights?

Cerbera and Tringreen
resolved to have a battle
cos Cerbera said Tringreen
had broke his brand new rattle

actually it happened when he threw the toys out of the pram.

Thank god we're back, a hellous week
In my new place, I've been so meek
Just trying not to look like a freak
If they CTRL and H, things will be bleak

And with that, I brought up the grand
If I'd have thought, I'd have had better planned.

It's Friday, quite late
I was just off to bed
When out of the blue
Came a voice in my head

'You haven't done your Friday poem!'

Well I have now.

My first predictions were absolute shite,
Perhaps tomorrow I'll get them right,
But then again,
There ain't no Spain,
Maybe Sunday will be the night.

Friday the fifteenth of June
You'd think it would be summer
But all we've got is wind and rain
It really is a bummer

Meanwhile, in the land of Arabs with socks,

The weather is exceedingly hot !

Enduring the football tonight might be a step too far,

As I'm off already, to my favourite bar !

The weather is crap, but Ingerlund are playing tonight,
Andy Carroll up front, I hope he ain't shite.
Big Ibrahimovic is the threat, let hope he doesn't get a shot,
John Terry is more interested in Joleon's Bird's Mott

Thank feck the coverage is on the good old Beeb,
Jamie Carragher's high pitched blurb is making my ears bleed,
Lineker's one liners are good, but with those big ears he needs a hat,
I wish Adrian CHiles would do one as he's an irrelevant tw@t

his face all contorted
when he smiles he looks wierd
so to cover the smile
id grow a beard

Watching Blighty slaughter the Swedes,
But a plane I cannot miss,
Early on Saturday east of Templemeade.

I am rather pleased with the above prose as it factually correct as well geographically correct and it rhymes.

Wind, rain, wind, rain, wind, rain,
You get the message, it's summertime again
Cameron's got selective amnesia,
He can't remember? Dodgy geezer
Cameron, Murdoch, Hunt and Brooks,
They really are a bunch of crooks
In the Euro's England drew,
With the French who missed a few
So now it's time to play the Swedes,
And England can't relinquish leads
This prose is done, I've had enough,
Poetry's just a load of guff

But if you want lowlife,
A place to pour scorn,
