| Lovely article in the Guardian. What a talent he was but firmly in the maverick camp.

| Hope the Exeter fans don't start singing rather ugly and ignorant songs about Nicholls as has been the case on more than one occasion. |

Sadly, with Luke liable not to be between the sticks, this will be the go to 'wind up song' for our chums from up the road. |

Which i dont recall any argyle fan signing songs of joy about his demise like city fans do nicholls. They can have pops at mccormick all they like though he actually warrants it right or wrong. |

| Football has always been like that. In the 1970s it was the Harry Roberts thing. Still, should be rather pleasant for those Brent hard working families sandwiched in between. A nice family day out. Family club of the year and all that. |

Millwall sang the Harry Roberts song at the JPT game. |

that was sang last week its still around. So are the coppers. That's disappointing to hear it's still going on. Of course, if any song were about the banking club owner, there would be all sort of consternation and fans being ejected. A mad world where the mill owner gets a free ride, yet the public servants get insulted. I have my big reservations about the police force and who they are there for, but they could do without that sort of crap at the moment given the huge public safety issues going on these days with the war thing and the huge attack on their budgets. |

| Amazingly talented keeper but sadly completely barking too.
Nicholls enjoyed winding Exeter fans up as much as any Argyle fan Harve. |

Nicholls enjoyed winding Exeter fans up as much as any Argyle fanĀ Favourite memory was him screaming at that Hartlepool player who had just scored their goal in an 8-1 defeat. Also remember him winding up the port vale support to the point of them invading the Lyndhurst. |

| An undoubted talent. Sadly though, he had a touch of the Darren Bastows about him. |

My friend & I remained sat in our seats in the Lyndhurst after the game & all the vale fans just ran past us towards the Devonport end. Don't think even one noticed us sat there, quite surreal. |
