| ARGYLE have banned 12 people following crowd disorder after their recent Johnstone’s Paint Trophy match against Millwall.
The 12 are barred indefinitely from attending any match at Home Park and are not allowed to buy tickets for away matches from the club.
The bans have been handed out by the Sky Bet League 2 leaders for a variety of offences, including: pitch incursions; assaults; threatening behaviour; failure to comply with instructions by police and stewards; and general disorder.
An Argyle spokesman said: “We pride ourselves on having a hard-earned reputation for being a family club and we are determined that Home Park should remain a safe and friendly environment for everyone to enjoy football.
“We will continue to work with the police to uphold this aim: anyone who causes similar problems at future matches is also likely to receive a club ban.
“Our message is simple: if people do not want to behave responsibly and with respect for others, we do not want them at Argyle.”
The bans are as a result of disturbances which took place at the end of the JPT game on Tuesday, November 10 and follow an extensive review by Argyle and Devon & Cornwall Constabulary, which included taking evidence from stewards and police officers as well as an analysis of CCTV and postings on Social Media.
The disorder at conclusion of the match occurred in and around the Lyndhurst Road stand, with police officers having to forcibly clear people who were refusing to move and were confronting visiting Millwall supporters. This resulted in the club being billed for those officers.
The Argyle spokesman said: “We wish to make it clear that none of those banned were from among the Millwall supporters, who should be commended for showing admirable restraint in the face of provocation. If they had not, the disorder could have been far worse.”
The enquiry is continuing with a number of others, who are yet to be identified, likely to receive bans

| If they are going to use social media and 'evidence' from thugs in fluorescent coats to ban people, that's a huge can of worms they are opening right there. |

| It seems the club are more concerned about paying the police the extra money than actually being concerned about the trouble why even mention paying the police |

| It does strike me as a little sad that our hoolies have to resort to a JPT game to find someone to have some disorder with. |

| Seems very unfair to ban them before the Exeter match... |

| Yes! To miss the biggest day in the hoolies calendar, a massively gigantic day against our little tiny neighbours up the road is so unfair. |

| So Plymouth's proud record as the knuckle dragging capital of the South West continues. Helps to explain why City will bring less down for the League game than the JPT, our fans are just fed up of facing your hoolies. |

Or they're fed up of wasting their hard earned cash on that shower of shite you call a football team. |
