| Del Bhey better start looking now for someone to fill in for Nelson double quick if its true. He'll be out for a while not good at all if there is some merit to this. |

| Our squad is way too paper thin for any hope of promotion. On top of players leaving in Jan, more injuries will happen. Mid-table at best. |

Even if you're fishing for nibbles, you can do a lot better than that. |

| Really bad news if true.
Is it true?
Anyway, if it is, will Brent loosen the purse strings and allow a decent loan signing?
The first test of Brent's intentions for the football club. |

The first test of Brent's intentions for the football club. It is being treated as a non-starter by Newell, who has attacked JL's fb group for being a regular source of made up nonsense. Which suggests it ain't true. Phew! Anyway, first I read of it (and many others will have) was on Pasoti, so who is perpetuating nonsense? Their so called Site Manager is running around demanding a tall right sided CB on loan to cover the injury |

| If Newell says it's a non-starter, Nelson's team mates need to start practising their signatures on plaster casts. |

| and then saying that the need to get a tall right sided CB on loan doesn't suggest at all that squad is thin. |

Freathy - are you OK? You don't seem your normal self with ''mid-table''. Its normally worse Maybe the blue lights on Outland Rd seen by M'Lud was the ambulance taking you to hospital. If it was then keep one eye open for Nelse or RR or anyone in green. |

injured or not I can confirm like I said yesterday that Curtis was up at the club on a crutch. To be precise he got out of his girlfriend's car in some degree of pain and then hobbled off using one crutch on his left side. As for people rumouring fractures I wouldn't have thought so, as wouldn't you then be using 2 crutches and not putting weight on your foot? I hope it's nothing like we all do but what I've said is 100% true.
pig reply
I'm sure there's some truth in the crutch thing Cobi, but sometimes they are used to take the weight of a niggled joint.
Some of the spams on that idiotic FB page would rather print stuff rather than think about the repercussions of what they are saying.
Clubs hire people these days to peruse all social media for such snippets.

Bang on the money, right on cue Kim Jong Newell is backing down and admitting Nelson probably did arrive to training on crutches. (Apparently Nelson has some crutches lying around his house, and they weren't prescribed by a doctor, it's just a really casual everyday injury. The fact he couldn't drive on it and needed a lift from his missus is just scandalous rumour mongering as well). However KJN feels the need to reiterate his swipe at John Lloyd's fb group, which it appears, was just reporting correct facts! Curtis Nelson was on crutches yesterday afternoon, that is all someone commented. But it is still a libellous pit of lies that shouldn't be trusted, etc. What a strange man all round, who knows what goes on in his head. |

| How many times does that man have to launch into a thread that he then has to back down from, whilst at the same time challenging the people who called it in the first place, before he realises that he's at best a well-minded idiot or indeed a bullying buffoon? |

That would suggest that someone would be paid to do the job. Can't see Mr Brent doing that! _______________________________________ I'm one of the common people so says the wife! Clubs hire people these days to peruse all social media for such snippets. It is typical of his bullying culture and no wonder Pasoti smacks of North Korea. He knows that he is implying that he sits in the Directors Box, he has the ear of the Chairman and that other rogue websites are being watched. Well, I've never met John Lloyd but what I see of him online is that he is an intelligent man, well travelled (but for culture rather than buffets) and is not likely to be intimidated one jot. He also seems to be universally well liked. How that must grate. When Frank and I met Martyn Starnes he was a tad frustrated that this website isn't so blindly supportive of the club as it could be, but to his credit listened to our reasons why. He also plainly communicated that Newell may not be held in as high regard within Home Park as he thinks. |
