Fair to middling, you could've done better Frank.

Nice to see Drew Savage speaking nicely about an Argyle manager

"We should thank Carl Fletcher" ? Do me a favour. All he did was keep the Ridsdale plan chugging along while trying to engineer a new career for himself. He was hopeless.
As for our chances under Derek Adams, I just don't get the negative "it's early days" , "let's wait and see" thing of the article. That is just so meek and suburban "I'm not worthy", and could have come from the mouth of  Sir Frank himself.

People assume I'm negative, but I sure as heck am not. I am a realist, a proper one, and automatic promotion is almost a certainty provided Adams can keep this team together and fit, and get another few months out of Boateng come January. There's no denying a good team at the level concerned. I still bemoan having Brent sitting in the chair, but Argyle have struck lucky with Adams. It was quite apparent right from the start. Even Tringy smelled a good 'un.

To play devils advocate here - and I'm a big Adams fan too, having seen his team every home game this season bar one - being a realist, shorely you'd look at the history of the man as far as his disciplinary record goes, and rightly still have an air of caution?

I've said it before, but the measure of the man will come when things take a turn for the worst, either on or off the pitch. Up to now, it's all good. That's more of a realistic view, innit?

Agree with both those previous posts. Wait until the injuries and suspensions kicks in and Jimmy says no more money and we'll see the measure of the man. However Drew is a moderate and educated wanker so not welcome on pasoti, so let's give him the benefit of the doubt. We need to get him on here

Absolutely. When the going gets tough and no doubt it will at some point then we will see Del Bhey true managerial abilities in keeping the team going bar the odd slip ups. Im sure he will cope and still deliver.

Drew's one of the good guys. Well-written as always.

When your livelihood depends, even in part, to any sort of realtionship with the club it is impossible to be uber-critical. Bugger me it must be hard enough to be fair.

We should just quietly recognise the actualité and just let it glide by.

This is exactly why independence is so cherishable. Some may not be able to say it exactly how they want but others can.
