| No plans to speak to warnock - just what the fans wanted to hear. Brent, you're a waste of space. |

| Even if he did speak to Warnock, if Warnock isnt interested Brent would have to deny it anyway to avoid publicly undermining Fletcher. The denial doesnt really mean anything. |

Questions...
Aren't most people who are sacked entitled to their wages until the end of their contract, unless they take another job?
Why on earth would Warnock give up a nice big fat premier wage packet to pick up a pittance at Argyle? There is no way Argyle could ever afford the compensation to QPR.
Why would he come to a club with a transfer budget probably less than his car is worth and therefore almost no chance of bringing in the players he would want?
What's in it for Warnock? |

What's in it for Warnock? On the face of it, absolutely nothing. |

| I don't think he's going to deny anything outright, the last thing the he and the fanbase needs right now is more bad news as we head into a potentially tricky fans meet. |

He will do anything as long as it costs him nothing. It cost Heaney's gang over half a million to be involved, Brent hasn't spent a penny of his own cash, despite what your revered President says about it, he has not a semblance of a clue. |

I know he made £1.7m by selling the non developing part of Home Park. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

Here's a little gem that came up on our Capital Gulls site this evening, I hope it makes you smile.........it left me pissing myself: Tanscript of a meeting between Brent, Webb and Newell just before he went on air: Brent: So what's the state of our first XV? Webb: Er, it's XI, not XV. Brent: What, rugger with reduced sides? Webb: Er, no, not rugby - it's football. Brent: Yes, football, rugby football. Rugger, hookers, scrumming down and grabbing the wotsits of the bloke in front of you and all that! Rah, rah!! IJN: Eh, did I miss something? Webb: No, not rugger - soccer. Plymouth Argyle Football Club. Brent: No, there's been some mistake - PAFC = Plymouth Albion Football Club. Doesn't it? Webb: No, Plymouth Argyle Football Club. IJN: What's he say, Webby? Brent: Well, I can't have that. Look, can't I just give you back this soccer rubbish and buy the rugger team instead? Webb: Sorry, it's too late for that. You're stuck with the football team, the Green Army, Forza Verde 1886, Gnome Park, the debts, in fact the whole kit and caboodle. Brent: Not quite, I sold the ground to the council. Webb: Well, everything else then. Brent: So where are we in the Premier League? Webb: We're not quite in the Premier League yet. Brent: Can we get into the Premier League next season? Webb: Yes, we most certainly can - in fact it's looking very likely. Brent. Fab. So how good is our First X. Webb: First XI... Brent: Funny ~ I'm sure we always play with ten but whatever, how good are they? IJN: We've got the foundation of a promotion winning team. They're mostly exceptionally good - the best money can buy. We do just need a couple of signings to get us promoted as Champions this season, then again next season so that we can take our rightful place in the Championship. We're a very big club, you know. Brent: So would it be fair to say that we've got a good core team but we need to enhance that? Webb: Yes, probably. Brent: Excellent. You can go now, and take that large pig with you. [Ring, ring. Ring, ring] Oh, hello BBC Radio Devon - I've got a statement to make...

Any plan involving a Harry Potter lookalike, Ridsdale and our very own dynamic duo of Where's Webby and Napoleon from the farm, has got a very likely chance of going tits up. Of course, it will then be the fault of apathetic janners not singing from Webby's song sheets . |
