| FOR several months, the club and the Green Taverners have been collaborating on a plan to replace the derelict Far Post Club at Home Park with a Supporters' Bar. Substantial progress has now been made and it is hoped work will begin shortly, once Plymouth City Council have given their approval with regard to planning regulations.
The Taverners-run Supporters' Bar will be erected alongside the Home Park Superstore and Ticket Office using the existing infrastructure of those departments, which will be reconfigured as part of the process.
Subject to planning regulations being satisfied, it is envisaged that the new Supporters' Bar will be open before Christmas.
As well as running the Supporters Bar, which will be open on match-days and at other times, the Green Taverners will continue to stage their Fan Fests before games

| More evidence, if any were needed, that a new stand will never be built by the current owner.
And still people and groups continue to carry out duties, works etc for which he should be responsible, both morally and financially.
Why? This is just a short term fix presumably. Far better if the GT's, The Trust and supporters turned their collective angst towards our non delivering owner rather than make his life easier.
Gets the bowels in a knot it does.

| Fans having a pop at an owner in Plymouth ? Not a chance in hell. Especially when spoken for by a headmaster and trucking line manager with a trolling addiction. The Far post was a pretty dire place in the end. Was a bit of fun way back, before everyone got old. A replaced drinking perch will be welcomed by some, not sure whom, as it will be a closed shop, just like the last one.. End of the line sticking plasters. Probably not far off the poorest facilities in the country for visitors and non members alike, unless you pre-book, pre-pay, and generally creep around like an ashamed unworthy with an appropriate ID'd lanyard. |

| the new far post is not a new far post its just a bigger Gts tent. So not a new quiet place to go for a drink and chat before games. |

| Nice timing before the fans forum with no detail or commitment as reliant on PCC planning rolling over.
Will that still happen and will application cover the whole portakabin and marquee village which ran out of planning permission in 2008 |

| Grandstands dead in the water then? They are actually developing the most insignificant building on the home park site. |

| This will just be a slightly bigger extension to the Aviva tent, that's all. And ran by the GT's,tell me..... was it not on one of their buses that personal details of ATD posters were freely and knowingly exchanged?! We need a supporters bar open to all, not one that is sold out 2 or 3 weeks before the game nor one that is staffed by notorious knuckle draggers that are associates of Nool.
Usual 'doing the minimum to appease the unwashed' bollocks from Brent. |

| So to all intents and purposes, this is just another tent. The only difference being that the likely clientele will be (even) older than the Fansfest lot. Oh well, at least Rick and Dave won't be in there. Small mercies etc.

| I can see it now. The Far post greys telling the fanfest slapheads to keep the noise down.

Rick and Dave will be there. Probably performing on a makeshift stage of pallets sponsored by Nickkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk. Like I said earlier it's just a reinvented Avivafest that will maybe admit another 100 (as long as your in the cabal of course) |

| If the council say no then it's all their fault once more, holding Argyle back.
A PR win for the die hard Brentonians. _______________________________________ COYG!

| Posted elsewhere but is further confirmation of the culture the reluctant one knows is a winner for him. Give the plebs the keys to the train set and they'll do anything for a fine gentleman. ' I see 'Jon b' was correctly identified by some on here, as a man on a mission in the little Argyle world and has used his corporate governance [bollox] skills, to worm his way into the club as secretary. Also heartwarming to see the trust leader smiling lovingly at the fine gentleman, to earn his place in the DB. How desperate to 'be someone' at HP people are and how well the puppet master plays them, in order to do his worst for PAFC.
