| Top win today, significant factor was that the goals came from other than the strikers, something which has been a problem all season and was one of the prime reasons why automatic promotion was not attained. Still, enough carping- it was a great result today and it can't do any harm to the confidence of the team to beat the second placed club on their own dung heap. Couldn't care less who Argyle play, it may as well be Wycombe and hopefully there'll be a large and very hostile crowd at HP next Saturday. |

| Next Sataurday night is a prefect occasion for the ATD cabal to meet for pre-match drinky poos!! Similar to the last one - you know........................ the one where Al of Tivvy wrecked the Fortescue after drinking 24 pints of Irn Bru, Bandwagon fell over in the middle of Mutley plain and was run over by the No 44 from Whitleigh, Iggy got arrested for smoking a joint the size of a traffic cone whilst singing I love the Tory party whislt playing darts, SFD was sick four times after eating 5 bargain buckets from KFC. Twas a good day. |

| And we all missed the taxis and turned up ten minutes late..... Cracking result, bit of form into playoffs, compared to a couple of weeks ago I feel quietly confident. Two goals with Roobs and Lewi not playing some interesting decisions to be made prior to Saturday. |

Yes it was fortunate that Shrewsbury didn't indeed concede the third |

OMG Thats blown it! Go hide Graiser old fella - quick. Back to my story - this is the first time since 7th March 2004 that the mighty greens have passed the 70 point barrier. Things are looking up. |

| What a result that was. I had a feeling that the afternoon would have been a tad nail biting whilst we conceded 2 or 3 and Luton would have been 2 or 3 up, but none of that. A very good win and a very good performance from all accounts.
Going into the playoffs on the back of that result will worry the other teams, and I would think Wycombe would have seen that score, coupled with their own failure to go up automatically, and thought, bugger me, don't fancy them too much, or a similar Buckinghamshire phrase.
If the same Argo turn up for both games, we'll beat Wycombe. Always an 'if' though. |
