| I'm hoping there's a mass brawl with loads of sendings off and one of the city players rams his boot into Rooney's head, making his ass-hair haircut fall out . |

i didnt even think it was a foul, yes studs were showing, but both feet were on the ground and he cleanly took the ball, and didnt even touch the player he tackeld. Shocking |

| You can understand why some two footed tackles are given an immediate red card, Gerrard for one seems to love jumping two footed with studs showing, especially against United and Everton, but to treat them all the same is ridiculous. Kompany won the ball cleanly, the player wasn't injured, and everyone carried on playing. It really won't be long before any tackler who goes to ground is booked. The slide tackle is almost non existent these days.
Can you imagine how George Best or Pele would have looked in the modern game? They used to get assaulted for 90 minutes and still rang rings aroun d defenders. |

| The referees just interperet their instructions from on high. The arbiters of the rules often have a subconcious bias toward the established body, in this case Manchester United, whether it be football, ice skating or everyday life. Needless to say down here we also always get shit refs. Manchester City haven't crossed the Rubicon yet. Another 50 million should do it. |
