I can see a win today. I like to think the guys have been doing target practise in training this week so we dont see a repeat of last week.

Wycombe lost to Nooport are they on a perpetual slide? Having said that Nooport are looking strong. City mid table fare.

Has the Wycombe bubble burst? 2 home defeats on the bounce.
On Exeweb the fans are defo worried about next week - saying we've hit form again.
Funny thing is the present form and results is almost identical to when Dave Smith took us up. 8 dodgy games then BOOM 8 wins on the bounce - only 5 to go. parteeeeee

Make no mistake this was a fantastic win against a well organised and at times dangerous looking Cambridge. First half we looked a bit flat and they always seemed to have the extra man to pass to, Luke made a couple vital saves, one a one on one and they also hit the bar from 25 yards with a disputable free kick. Second half we seemed to have a bit more urgency about us and really went at them from the off, it just never looked as though it was going to be our day but not for the lack of effort, we huffed and puffed but the final ball through or cross was always just not quite right, you could feel the frustration building in the crowd but great credit to the players they kept plugging away and with about 10 minutes left Bobby Reid hit a long range well struck shot which was parried by their keeper and smashed home nicely from 5 yards by Brunt, 3 or 4 minutes later Lewi weaved his way through several defenders and squeezed a deflected shot through a crowd of players and into the onion bag, get in! A hard fought and fully deserved victory, the type of match promotion winning teams manage to win, here's hoping, bring on the scum.

All proper stay at home fans like me throbbs and green army 1984 are in the trenches shoulder to shoulder with General Shez, no time for surrender monkeys or back stabbing Farm types, this is Nitty Gritty time.

Good result for Argyle this afternoon cheers .

What they need now is for one or two teams above them to have a wobble.

Pretty much as I saw it. Argyle got stronger as the match went on against a very good Cambridge team, who passed the ball as well as anybody at HP for a long time. Some good performances, really starting to like Talbot, and the Charlton lad did pretty well on home debut. This is what Argyle need to do between now and the end of the season-not being an especially free scoring team, crucial that clean sheets are kept. Other results didn't go that well except Wycombe but you can only win your own games. Enjoyable hard fought win, well done to all concerned.

Blimey has the throbber gone all pro Shez now? 9 points ago he was threatening to actually go to a game and heckle from the back of the grandstand.

On another note please do not use that disgusting phrase again. Pedliar will be onto you double quick if you ever say 'back-stabber' again. The LGBT community want it banned.
