| Do we need fans to volunteer to play for the club like everything else? because its clear to all but the Brenty Boyz, that this club will remain termanilly shit while Green Jim undermines any attempt by Sheridan to build a side. No doubt Sammy Clappy and the other gratefuls will claim that " Events have conspired against the club" I say utter bollocks, they knew the loans were ending but had no plan B a bit like the Ministand fiasco. |

| Spot on, Jim no bobs is getting let off so lightly I'm staggered frankly. I'm fed up with all the apologist shite about how tough it is for us, well guess what it's as tough for City but they can put a squad together that can score three goals in a game with crowds about a third of ours if they're lucky. Luton were in the conference last year and they were all over us, we've been in this league for three feckin years now and for two of them we've had a twenty goal a season striker in Reid it's simply not good enough. I don't hold with all this bullshit about players won't come down here, the honour role of players who did come down here but left because we don't pay the money to keep them is depressing in the extreme, pay the money and they will come, pay peanuts and get monkeys and not even enough monkeys to fill the bench FFS! |

| Brent had the chance in this transfer window to show he wanted promotion, well Jim now we know! a supposedly pro club can only fill four sub spaces? Sheridan can take part of the blame forshore, but we all know who's really to blame. |

| We will hear that it's because of injuries, lets address that point now, we have five players out with injury I think, not unusual to be five players down in Jan with injuries and suspensions. |

| Brent was prepared to bid for O'Connor so it is definitely nothing to do with the board all of ours best players are loans and their clubs keep recalling them #noissueswithfunding #stripesareback |

| Out of the Play-Off positions and Exeter City above us again, terrible day.
Too early to make the call that the season is over for Argyle, but i think the team will now struggle to regain a Play-Off position and sustain it (even if those out injured or suspended make a swift return to the side). A possible final League Two placing of 9th or 10th looks on the cards come May '15.
Oh well, onwards and upwards [sic].

| JS unpopular once again then.. I say, joshearl_pafc will get flak for his comment - ''Brent and Sheridan out please, need a fresh start''.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

| Before a ball was kicked this season, several ATD regulars said that argyle had a decent enough side but that the squad was paper thin and that it would be costly. That prediction has turned out to be very accurate. |

| On the tosspoti thread linked to above, the first post mentions Warnock as a replacement for Sheridan. This old chestnut. Why would he come to Plymouth? He's just been sacked from a Prem club, someone else will come knocking sooner or later from a higher division.
But let's suppose that he likes the idea of another go at the Argyle job. First of all he would have to accept a pitiful salary, because we all know that Brent won't put his hand in his pocket to help the football club. And secondly he would have to accept a shoestring budget with very little room for manoeuvre in terms of changing the squad. Why on earth would Warnock risk his legacy and hero status at Argyle to come back in such circumstances?
And the same problems apply to anyone who replaces Sheridan. Brent won't pay the wages for players or manager. Brent has no ambition for the club in sporting terms. Brent is the problem here, not Sheridan. Remove Sheridan from the equation and the biggest problems facing the club are still there, and they come from our 'lord and saviour'. |

| for gods sake warnock would be a disaster! wheres the longer term plan having a 65 year old manager aaaarrrgggghhh i said to a mate of mine after the oxford game the season was over now its seems like i wasnt far wrong. there is always a chance of scraping the play offs but we'll need to beat such sides as stevenage, cambridge & accrington to achieve that HUGE success. brent out now ! |

I second that. Looks like it is Brent and ''Argyle going nowhere in a hurry'' for a longer while yet. Promotion was probably the aim for this season and if it it is not achieved, what ramifications will that have for the club, bearing in mind the balloon payment next year. I have only been to three games this season and tbh it is not the best football i have seen, but then again, it is League Two. My hope was that Argyle would go up this season, but looking at the situation now, that looks iffy. The recent poor form is a terrible predicament for Argyle, who now find themselves out of the Play-Off positions and sitting in 9th position. Argyle's decline just of late has been epic. |

| There was never any hope of promotion this season or any other season while brent, his useless 'board' of shite and assorted hangers-on still pollute the club. The downward trajectory of the past 6 years has temporarily slowed but it's not over yet. We probably have enough points in the bag to avoid being ejected from the league this season. But next season I can see us finishing rock bottom of L2. |

It does make you wonder where it goes, on paper (and i know you lot still have massive debts) but your turnover should be twice ours (prob more as you dont have to pay Business Rates atm) so where is all the money going, everyone knows we have the most well paid manager in the league (so alot of our budget goes to him) your loan players would almost defo have there wages covered by there club, is brent taking out (ala Russell the CU and Lewis the NT) if so you wanna get that weasel out asap Its commonly known his hotels are going down the pan, his plans for millbay havent happened (but PCC have given him a massive bag of SWAG) if he goes under how does that effect pafc, would the ripples become the iceburg that sinks Titanic? |

| I hear that Plymouth have downsized their subs bench to save that little bit of money that can spur them on to promotion.
