| Brents total lack of ambition comes back to bite him. sells 11 Goal Hourihane for a pittance, now is looking in the football dustbins for another cheap short term repacement for Bobby?? |

| It's all so feckin inevitable, I bet it's because they want to pay him feck all, he's come down here done well and probably wants a bit of recognition for it. |

| Argyle have zero ambition under Brent, we have the third highest crowds in this crap division by a country mile, if the club goes on a run we would top ten thousand EVERY game dispite what the brent apologists might say. but yet here we are scratching around looking for a short term loan!!! its truly pathetic in my view, the Mini stand mentality prevails amongst the gratefuls. |

I don't think you can pin this one on that factor at all- the deal was clearly all set to go until it was pulled out at their end due to the domino affect of Kane being taken away from them. |

| Their manager will want more than just 11 players...
Although he did say that if he was nowhere near the side and/or they strengthen this month, he may come back at the end of this window. Here's hoping. |

Argyle could now well slip out of the PO area and slide down the table with a whimper and that would be tragic, but not at all surprising. |

| City have completed the emergency loan signing of Wolves midfielder George Saville.
The 21-year-old arrives on a 93-day loan in time to link up with the squad for Saturday’s visit to Scunthorpe United in Sky Bet League One (3pm).
Manager Steve Cotterill said: “He’s a young boy who is driven and brings a lot of energy. He’ll come in and fit in well with our lads.
“We lost Todd Kane so I felt we needed another who can run in there. I just feel, with all the competitions we’re involved in, we just needed something extra.” |

| Quote from OTIB
SC has hinted on City website that two more may be coming in next week.
My hunch, if this happens, is a keeper and striker.
And if my hunch is correct, I believe that Bobbie Reid and possibly Jordan Wynter will go out on loan. There is also a possibility of Dave Richards going on loan to get game time
Goalkeepers Frank Fielding Dave Richards Right Wing Backs Mark Little James Tavernier [Loan ] Center Backs Luke Ayling Aden Fint Derrick Williams Karleigh Osborne Left Wing Backs Joe Bryan Greg Cunningham Midfielders Korey Smith Wade Elliott Marlon Pack George Saville [Loan] Jordan Wynter Bobby Reid ? Scott Wagstaff Luke Freeman Strikers Jay Emmanuel Thomas Matt Smith [Loan Kieran Agard Aaron Willbraham Loan Out Adam El Abd Bury Wes Burns Oxford |

| Maybe it is my age but I still find it hard to get excited about a loan signing. Not helped of course by my disgust at the way that teams can now be built on a good relationship with a premiership manager. Might as well go the whole hog and allow formal feeder clubs.
It all looks a bit charidee to me. We can't develop and attract people who want to play for us permanently but can you throw us some cast offs?
Not a comment particularly on BR, more a moan about the whole system. I think it particularly sad that everyone has to go so happy clappy over a kid signing for a few weeks from Brizzle.
Don't give a shiny shite that everyone does it although I wonder how many loan players other clubs do use but more that we have to do it.
Moany old mood tonight but the loan player system has been grating me for ages. |

Moany old mood tonight but the loan player system has been grating me for ages. I agree to a point. I always thought the emergency loan was for, as an example, when you have no GK's. A club recently explained that they needed an ''emergency loan GK'' because their 2 1st team squad GKs were injured and only left them 2 x youth team GKs who were actually f/t pro's. Agh - so they have got GKs then???? The rules and procedures are there and abused by everyone so Argo can't do anything different. I think fans are ''happy clappy'' because he is a good player for this league. As for AO'C at Blackburn. AO'C wants to be a free agent in June so wouldn't move to Argyle on a permanent deal even though Blackburn were happy with the fee (£?? prob not very much). So - offer them the fee and give AO'C a 6 month deal on reduced wages knowing that he could walk away in June. Simples |

Simples If the club have reallocated his squad number to the new "striker" then i'd say its pretty much a cert the club dont think he is coming back |
