| Buckle up, it's gonna be a bumpy ride.
The pitch, the weather, the Christmas 'hangover'. I'd sell my grandmother for a point today. |

P'raps Wotts should walk up and down the touchline with a mahoosive water jug to try and unsettle him, we're gonna have to try everything today methinks. |

| Hopefully Sheridan can pull rabbits out of his hat and strengthen the squad to give us depth in jan without having the club sell nelson and reid to do it if he ever sees the money from them |

| We have a decent first eleven, although three of them are on loan - my solution (especially for TigerTony) I would have spent the profit from PCC buying the ground back on players not land! |

For a 53 year old you are remarkably uneducated. I think my 2 year old grand-daughter has better linguistic skills than you. |

i agree strong 11 not alot after that. if reid is having an off day we are screwed for goals too. these need to be addressed if the board are serious about the football side of the club and promotion. |

| We had the heart of our superb defence missing and do not have backup of that quality - as most clubs don't. Not an excuse but more of an observation. Onwards - lets beat Oxford and get back on the rails. |

And a Merry Christmas to you too It' a lot easier to get yourself 'up' for something as a player you'd really rather not do, if it's ten minutes from your sofa and you've got a home crowd behind you. Yes. Similarly when you've not got an 'X' hour coach drive home before you can see your family again it's easier not to let your shoulders drop when you're pissed wet through in conditions reminiscent of the Christmas truce. Again, yes. |

| Since Tone seems a tad off form - distracted by my appalling composition and spelling no doubt, I shall provide the usual green tinted 'call to arms'
You can't expect to win them all, especially a team like Newport with such good home form, onwards and upwards, three points on sunday, thank goodness we still have a team to support.
