We're entering the FESTIVE season, and Argyle are a mere 5 points from the TOP.

We have a 3 point BUFFER in terms of retaining a playoff spot.

A victory at Newport (7th) would put us in an excellent position, as that match is followed by a match at home to Oxford (17th) and then away to York (22nd) ahead of January's trip to Southend (5th).

At this point I can ONLY see us TOP of the LEAGUE.

And then we'd be in an EXCELLENT position to sell Reuben Reid.

But yah, is it time to get pozzo abait this season?

Greengenes was on for a couple of minutes earlier but before he flounced off again he said that RR ain't going nowhere, and he should know cos he hasn't sen Nool in yonks. Promo foreshore.

After brent's January sales and with Bobby's loan ended etc, by Easter we'll be looking down not up. We should have enough points in the bag already to stop us falling into the bottom two but January onwards is going to be very grim indeed.

The bigger, longer term picture remains grim. Even if Reuben stays and we do manage to get promoted without the other Reid, to face the likes of Crawley and Fleetwood next season, does anyone really believe that brent and his jamboys can maintain such dizzy heights as England's 3rd tier ? Bloody Sheridan was saying what a good team D&R are.............. ffs !

I must admit I am finding it hard trying to enjoy the dizzy heights of being 5th in the bottom division, whilst the bigger picture remains the same.

i have no faith in brent delivering resources for sheridan to build in january to secure playoff place or even promotion. I can see him selling Reid though

we all know when the club say a player is not for sale that in reality he is and will be sold for the first offer given no matter how under value it is.

Your hero, the non developer /investor will sell reid for a pittance like Hourihane ( 11 goals already this season) to which you and your fellow gratefuls, will claim it to be a brent masterstroke. Yes thats true pete, but they went for millions and neither spurs or liverpool wanted to sell, Brent sold Hourihane to the first bidder for a few grand.
