Will there be as much optimism come February?

I'm mostly a reader of both sites with the odd occasional post on Half Time here and Terraces over there. I'd imagine there are many people who are just guests and don't want to ever post themselves. To lock threads, such as Terraces should be seen as crazy behaviour but it's not very good anymore and is just a place to dump thread hijacks. You should always look forward in life but a site like Pasoti needs to keep its best posters and many of them have worked it all out and have disappeared (for good?).
So many of the main posters on there always seem to be on the back foot and justifying actions of themselves and others. It's a real shame because it used to be an outstanding website and has been ruined by over moderation and continual cover ups (see the knarf reprah thread for an example of this).

The origins of the decline of Pasoti go back almost a decade when a few of us who warned against 'Trusting in Stapes and his lovely family', were banned as 'naaaaaaat praaaaaper faaaaans'. Even then it was obvious that the future co owner and his chums had designs on being someone at the Theatre of Schemes.
The reluctant one was sent from heaven for them. They protect, act as cheerleaders for him and rattle buckets and he doles out a few perks.

To be emasculated wouldn't pasoti have to have some balls in the first place?

Chingers, Pasoti has never been an "outstanding website". It was and has always been a nest of Vipers.
The best course of action here is site closure.

What about offering Brent £100 in cash? He'd probably close it for us.

There really were some top posters on Pasoti a few years back (many of which are on here now). That's what made it a great website. Not the people who own it or the advertisers, it's all about the people who actually post stuff. Forget about what's happened over the last few years because it really was an excellent site to read.
It's a shame what's happened really, but there's a voice that keeps on calling me. Down the road, that's where I'll always be. Every stop I make, I make a new friend. Can't stay for long, just turn around and I'm gone again. Maybe tomorrow, I'll want to settle down, Until tomorrow, I'll just keep moving on.
