Pasoti emasculated.

Great word emasculation, anyway no terraces, no opinions and no Argyle fans trust to any visitors or guests! Why is that? Guests in no way contribute to the site, discussions or opinions on Pasoti anyway, they can't, they aren't members. It's becoming more and more like a members clubs where the only real rule enforced is not having a contrary opinion to the management. Isn't the whole point of a forum to discuss things? So what if someone says they don't like the grandstand, board or owners, it's their opinion and in no way reflects on anybody else. Pasoti must be the most moderated forum on the internet, the true eunuch of the Internet.

Those advertisers must be rubbing their hands with glee at all the extra potential viewers.

Ultimately people register on forums because of what they can read not because of what is unviewable by them.

If this short-sighted, self-defeating measure remains in place there will be fewer new members and the numbers that stop posting will never be matched by new blood.

It is a suicidal policy.

Then again they've been shooting themselves in the foot with astonishing accuracy and regularity for ages now so presumably the whole lot will go members only soon. It's the logical conclusion to their chosen policy after all.

It used to be such a good site but now look at it: integrity destroyed by the manipulation, self-serving obedience and paranoia of a co-"owner" only there because of his backers and visible to only a few. I can't believe that this is what Dave Gadd had in mind when it was set up. Pasoti is now an abomination and a complete betrayal to everything a supporters' website should be. Great post Sir Francis, Its the owners very own self promotion forum, him and his hand picked yes men have destroyed what was a good forum.

i dont see anything wrog with having an area members only but something like the zoo corner would be it not an important area like the trust when there is an election on

It's this site's fault! full of freaks and weirdos who find racism, religious intolerance and homophobic views uncomfortable, particularly when uncovered among campaigning supporters representatives.

And have a tendency for a screenshot which isn't popular among protected schemers who can't retrieve and delete the evidence.

We still screenshot anything that's relevant anyway, makes no difference to us there are loads of pasoti members who are willing to do it for us. the only losers are the genuine interested fans with probably no other motive than to know what's going on, mind you they have never liked sharing any relevant news beyond their own clique.

All explained by the site owner, apparently it's to stop people doing this;

Agree with SFD. I really beleived PASOTI had moved on, but the wankers in charge seem hell bent on ruining a once great supporters website.

All that will happen now is that anything even the slightest bit contentious or critical of the Brent regime will be moved from public view. It's a desperation move and will without doubt impact massively on the general readership because there will be hundreds of people who ordinarily would have browsed without signing in. They simply won't bother now. Another Farm own goal.

The worst thing is, quite a few people on here have Pasoti accounts - they can still easily screenshot posts and Herr Site Manager still won't know who to send a stern warning message to.

And now posters can see it is really getting up their noses, they are only going to do it more often...
