| It's the 4th (i.e. last) qualifying round for the FA Cup on Saturday. There's a few fixtures of interest among them:
Aldershot v Torquay
Until very recently a L2 fixture.
Dorchester v Bristol Rovers
We came unstuck there. Will Rovers? Almost a local derby too.
Gloucester City v Forest Green
Bit of a local derby that one. Sure to be a bit of needle.
Norton United v Shildon
I have never even heard of either of them!
Stockport v Chester
Another local derby with some Football league pedigree behind it. Both sides shafted by controversial ownership.
Willand Rovers v Gosport Borough
Willand! They must be delighted to get this far and won't want to miss out on the biggest day in their history.
Witham Town v WSM
Pretty sure the Weston goalie is an Argyle fan. No idea where Witham is.
I hope we get Dorchester at home in R1 and give them a good doing. |

| I've got a feeling we'll be drawn away to a League 1 team who play somewhere far away and unappealing, and who will beat us fairly comfortably. I'm thinking either Franchise FC or Barnsley. |

| Isn't the Weston keeper Peter Trego, the Somerset cricketer? I may have imagined that.
So the draw is this weekend presumably. |

He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler. He is a big hitting all-rounder who is capable of taking a one-day match away from opposing teams in the latter stages. Trego also plays football as a goalkeeper to a reasonable level. During the 2004–05 season, he made 41 appearances for Margate,[4] and became only the third goalkeeper in the club's history to score when he found the net from a free kick within his own half.[5] He has also played for Weston-super-Mare,[6] Clevedon Town[7] and Chippenham Town who he also scored for whilst in goal in similar fashion to his previous one.[8] |

| Leyton Orient away which we'll win 2 -1 with a late headed goal from RR in the 88 minute. It will then take me about 20 minutes to get home. |

He had a season playing cricket for Callington in his younger days and oddly enough for someone who has done pretty well at first class level since, he didn't really achieve that much. Saw him batter Callington's bowlers in a testimonial a couple of years ago though, sixes all over the place and windscreens in danger in the car park. Anyway, hopefully we'll get a minnow at home in the first two rounds. |

| Maidstone vs Welling is a two and a half thousand all ticket sellout for the Ryman Premier club with the 3G pitch.
We will get Bury away again I guess and go out with our now traditional whimper. |

| I do not want Bristol City at home or away, they would destroy Argyle over the 90 minutes.
A non-league side for me, something like Weston-Super-Mare at home or away.

| Draw is Monday at 7pm on BBC2 I'd like Weston-super-mare home or away. If at Weston could be a good TV game. |

| We want a home tie first and foremost. Then we need to win it.
Under normal circumstances I would relish a cup run but this season it might get in the way. Given where we are right now promotion is what we need most.
I wonder if Bobby Reid or O'Connor would be allowed to play in a cup tie? |
