Alex Bray on the mend after knee injury which ended his loan to Plymouth Argyle
ALEX BRAY has wished Plymouth Argyle well for the rest of the season as he continues his recovery from the knee injury which abruptly ended his loan spell to the Pilgrims.
The 19-year-old Swansea City winger ruptured a anterior cruciate ligament when he made his debut for the Pilgrims in the 1-0 win away to Luton Town at the start of September
Bray had only been on the pitch for a matter of minutes as a second half substitute when he did the damage.
He had successful surgery later in the month and, despite the serious injury, still regards his loan spell to Argyle as ‘ a great experience’ for him.
In a classy touch by the Pilgrims they sent Bray the shirt he wore against Luton in a frame and signed by his team-mates
“That was a really nice touch,” he told Swansea’s official website. “Something like that just makes me want to work even harder to come back because they showed so much faith in me.
