All to do with Crimea.

Crimean teams have been playing in the Russian Cup and teams from one country are not allowed to play in another's cup competition (apart from Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Berwick Rangers etc obvs) and UEFA is yet to sanction the Crimean club's departure from the Ukrainian FA.

A deal will be done russia it is.

If Qatar can keep the World Cup despite all their faults and corruption i dont think Russia will lose their's.

Absolutely.
I really can't see how FIFA can use a domestic issue to stop the WC. They could ban the winners from Europe for X years on the basis that the cup is not ''Russian'' - but thats about it.

It's FIFA's World Cup and they can do anything they want to with it! They would never stop it.  But if they wanted to, they could take it out of Russia and ban them from entering.  They could ban them for ever if they wanted to... But yet again... They never would.
