| I'd go for
McCormick; Mellor, Nelson, Hartley, McHugh; O'Connor; Harvey, Cox; Lewi, Reid, Banton.
Essentially the same 4-1-2-3 that we started against L'Orient, with Harvey coming in to replace Norburn. Although, I would be too fussed if Norburn started, though I'd like to see Harvey come on and make an impact hopefully in the same way he did on Tuesday. |

| I couldn't even put a name to a face for most of the half arsed excuses for players that represent PAFC these days. Was certainly the case at Cambridge.
Kevin Hodges had a better bunch and they were shite but at least they could score goals and get a result every couple of weeks. |

| Beswetherick, Earl Jean, Dungey, Adam Barrett to name a few.
They were shite which kind of brings things into how low we have stooped. |

You just dont get that with Sheridans consistently turgid side. Playing well and losing has become the new winning at Argyle these days. Indoctrinated in defeat is what we have become. |

| I can remember the 'turnaround' protest at Mansfield against Mad Dan.
I would have Dan back in a flash over the Tapeworm.

| Used to play 5 aside on Saturday nights against Bessie when I were a lad, knew his older brother too. Weird because he went from zero to hero overnight (getting into pafc) then back to zero and finally becoming a copper before he was in his late 20's.
Funny old game. |

Beswetherick also played 27 games for Argyle when they won this division with 102 points and conceded only 28goals in the entire season in 2001/2.He made a bad career move in going to Hillsborough,he certainly wasn't good enough for the CCC and went downhill very quickly after that-maybe one good example of the grass not necessarily being greener on the other side. |

| The gradual realisation that pafc is quite a sad football club, makes me rather ambivalent about the result tomorrow. Having said that, I think they will prevail over a marginally more pathetic football club.

| Going for a 2-1 City win.
I'm optimistic though, last season I would've said 3-1 City. |

| Fulham offered £200k for Beswetherick. Fat Dan turned them down thinking hecwas special. When Stapleton let him go he went to a higher club in Sheff Weds on more money.
He certainly wasn't shit. |

I'd say the answer is the rhetorical 'Did Andre Blackman equal or surpass Beswetherick's 138 appearances for Argyle'? Did he leave for a bigger club and a pay rise? |
