| 1-0 to England. Italy have got some seriously restrictive injuries and Sterling coming off the bench late on against their slow defence could be the difference. |

| The team selection will certainly be interesting.
I suspect Hodgson will probably plump for Welbeck ahead of Sterling though I'd love to see Sterling Rooney Lallana, and Sturridge as the front 4.
The first 7 on the teamsheet pick themselves. |

| I'd have been happy to leave Rooney out but now the game is getting closer I've lost my nerve.
Sterling could cause Italy some real damage, supporting Sturridge |

| Biggest problem is the energy draining humidity. Italy's natural game is slow and methodical so they don't have to adapt a great deal. Ours is based around pressing the oppo, strength and pace. I'd almost play for a 0-0 for an hour before throwing Sterling and Barkley on to run their guts out for 30 minutes. |

| For me it's Newcastle Brown followed by a few cheap, but reminiscent of Watney's Pale Ale, Marston's Pedigree Pale Ale.
The next question is, when do the penalty's kick in? |

| Elias, you're a miserable old shitbag - it only happens every four years and we don't always qualify.
Sterling starting is a brave move. Buffon is out - a big bonus. |
