| Best remembered for the portrayal of himself in Team America?!

More likely for the famine, nuclear weapons and brainwashed general public. |

| A bit of a hobby of mine, the old North Korea issue. I don't think it'll be too long before something drastic happens-defections are getting more and more frequent, the North are worried and their response is generally just to get more lairy towards the South. I'm not sure there'll ever be unification ala Berlin late 80s as the gap is just too wide, but come the next economic 'upturn', hopefully allied with his successor taking power, I wouldn't be surprised if there is either some pretty serious reform, if not war. |

| Just switched on the Tv and realised what this thread was about (I don't tend to open links on my phone).
Omg omg omg.
I hope that the West use this to re-establish talks with the NK regime. The more we are in contact with them the safer everyone is! I believe his son was Oxbridge educated, perhaps he learnt something there we can use to help it's people, both in terms of basic human needs and un-brainwashing themselves. |

| Kim Jong-un was educated in Switzerland and NK. He avoided Western influences whilst in Switzerland - staying and socialising with the NK Ambassador.
I can't see much change.
What is slightly worrying is if a power struggle develops between the 2 older sons who have been passed over the top job.
Having said that, state TV has just announced Jong-un as The Great Successor, so perhaps there won't be the power struggle at all.
Of course, it also means that a 22 or 23 year old (nobody in the west actually knows exactly how old he is) has his finger on the button of nuclear missiles which can reach Japan, Alaska and of course South Korea. |

| 28 or 29 so they say...but he'll never be half the golfer his pa was For anyone who didn't see the item this morning he went round NK's only golf course when it opened in 27 under par including 11 holes in one. This was witnessed and verified by all of the 17 bodyguards that accompanied him. Quite rightly after this feat he was proclaimed "the best golfer in the world...ever". |
