We hardly get on the TV so it can't be easy getting a big brand sponsor. Swindon are sponsored by Samsung however so that doesn't always follow - although, again, that was down to Swindon being on a TV programme in conjunction with Sky last season/the season before. People have been mentining Chris Dawson as an owner based solely on £+locality=obvious choice - The Range is a national brand now so why not ask for £100k from Mr Dawson. How much are these deals actually worth? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
Let put this to bed
Chris will not give his unemployed 62 year old brother a penny who still lives in the family Council house. Chris will not use his money unless he can make a profit.
From what I can work out he's the definition of a tight arse.
It's probably how he's made so much money.. Way too sensible to invest in a football club .

Pretty sure Mr Dawson is involved with Yeovil, too.
I'm not sure in what capacity.

Dawson's plans to re-develop one of Yeovil's stands (the shite away end) seem to be meeting opposition (despite being announced 3 years ago). He wants to build a retail park (in exchange for 2 training pitches) and will build Yeovil a new 3500 capacity stand as part of the deal. The retail park would have an Asda and a Range store.

If Dawson bought Brent out he would probably build the clusterfuck with his own money then piss off, Dawson is another ruthless suit, not needed at Argyle.

Will the Range make more than the £30 - £40k investment back in profit? Almost certainly not, and there's your answer.
