Anything other than a win will make it really hard for us to hit the points total we are likely to need to reach a play-off spot
And after this "Cup Final" we have 6 more, hopefully, whatever the result but lose 3 of our remaining 7 and we're going to look back at this season as yet another missed opportunity. I believe that Argyle MAY have blown that chance now. If that does turn out to be the case at the end of the season, then there will be games that could be looked back on with misery. However, a home win tomorrow will boost the local pride somewhat and a win would also keep the team within a sniffing distance. We [as supporters of Argyle] are in for one hell of a ride to the finish line..It is York City i fear now, they have the foot on the pedal and look a dangerous threat to seal a Play-Off spot.

Yep, that not only are you in denial but you are also a small minority of the Garg faithful. Guess the bulk of your support will be getting out their knitted scarves, jester hats and wooden rattles and putting them by the door in case they might forget their importance, their lucky pants will have already been on for a day or two, mmmmmmmmm, nice smell at the breakfast tables down Swilly. |

So which one of the 7 games you would have left doesn't count as a final? Not to mention the play off semis and final which can Shirley be your only hope short of taking 12 points out of an admittedly out of form Chesterfield. |

| "This for me too. Bit ironic that we just won Family Club of the Year but we're going to stick the family enclosure between Zoo Corner and the Away Fans for an Exeter game. It's a really, really ridiculous idea. Hopefully parents who take there kids to that part of the ground will have the common sense to move elsewhere." (Posted in that other place)
A shame that Nobby felt that this was an issue.
We have sold less than 700 tickets and the impression I get is that a lot of our fans simply don't fancy running the gauntlet of your knuckledraggers, such a shame that we shall most likely be bringing less to you for what is a big game for both sides, for very differing reasons, than we took to Crawley for a run of the mill Conference game on a Tuesday night not so very long ago.
Banter aside you would have thought that our own management might like to have a look at why they thought such a thing could happen? |

Rah rah football bantah...
City r poo. I still can't get over you playing "We are the Champions" to suck up to a proper big club just as your Championship coffin lid was slamming shut.
Big talk, small club.
It is your Cup Final, it has always been your Cup Final, ours comes a week or three later agin the Turks.
Nice to see ol' EJ bigging up your unsubstantiated support at Rochdale, shame than even his inflated figure was actually less than tiny lil ol' ECFC took to Rotherham. Pompey are the only big club in this division, they could do with three points, let's hope they get them soon eh? Too small to take 700 fans to your biggest away game all season in a crucial game to stay up, but so big you will take thousands and thousands to Rotherham? Cut the bullshit Tis, we all know Exeter is tinpot, some of the away figures you come up with are practically the same as your last home attendance. So we KNOW you're talking SHIT. Now 700 away for your local derby, pathetic isnt it? We sold out Bristol Rovers away last month well over a week before kick off, that was 1500 tickets and well in excess of twice the distance, Argyle the big club showing you how to support your team as per. It's about time you boys sorted your shower of shite club in the boardroom, in the dressing room and now on the terraces, you're a non league act all round and might find yourselves back where you belong in a few short months. |

Well actually it is far more indicative of the fact that you don't seem to know very much at all. Wow, you sold out the Gas away on a Saturday, we did it on a Tuesday night a couple of seasons ago, you are just so small time, and the best thing is you are just so dim you don't even realise it. We are minnows and prior to the current regime we seem to be about as well supported away from home as the might Plmuff Arghpile, two small clubs from a footballing backwater, we are over it, you need to do the same. 1500 to the Gas, we took 1800 to fecking Weymouth for a Conference game, verifiable figures if you had a clue where to look, which of course you don't because you are not really a football fan, just another plastic tw@, fooking Porky has more cred than you. I see you are down to 9th with Sarfend coming back to a bit of form, excellent news, just makes tomorrow's Cup Final a bigger game still, easily your biggest of the season, we on the other hand appear not to be at all bothered about it, bit pf role reversal there methinks, not so bad as when you brought just the 300 to Sid James, now that was embarrassing. |

| Shut up Tis you boring shit. And using funny nicknames all the time is really grating.
Southend are 3-0 up tonight so that puts them ahead of us and York. Oxford looked woeful in the first half. Tomorrow is huge. A win puts us ahead of Southend but I can't see Toquay getting anything from their trip to York. It isn't huge because it's Exeter but that'll put 4,000 on the gate, it's huge as we've got a chance. York's goal difference is worth a point. A big win tomorrow is a must.
A draw might not be disaster but losing would probably end our season.
P.s. shut up Tis. |

You dim plastic feck, "it isn't huge" it's just bigger than the Turks who are just down the road, it's bigger than the 'Dockyard Derby', snigger, wtf are you on that you don't know it's huge for you because it is us and we have been laughing our guts up at you and your weak ass club for four long years. Get a grip, slip up tomorrow and the Big Mo will be over and you will be struggling to stay in touch with the play offs. |

| Your mother is so huge your daddy has to leave a chalk mark to show where he left off.
Your daddy is so stupid he often forgets & gives your mother £19 after sex.
Your club is so small that they won't be missed when they go out of the league (again). |

Get a grip, slip up tomorrow and the Big Mo will be over and you will be struggling to stay in touch with the play offs. And if you lose you will be deeper in the relegation mire In the circumstances I really wouldn't be on a rival forum mouthing off The chances are you will lose tomorrow and in two months time, your club is a good bet for relegation It's your club's biggest away game of the season and you can't even generate 700 fans It's all so embarrassing and pathetic - what on earth are you here trying to show off about again? |

| I spoke to a City fan earlier today (I met him by chance in the Lyndhurst last season for the league game) and asked if he was going. He said he wasn't because Exeter were so dire (despite Saturday's win) and said he didn't want to face the humiliation. To be honest I felt the same earlier in the season when Argyle played at SJP. Strange how we've swapped positions. |

He sounds like the kind of pussy that would hang with you Scummers, the actual reason why support will be so low is that City fans dislike having to run the gauntlet of knuckledraggers which so many of you seem to think are heroes for what is nowadays just a very ordinary game, we will continue to sell out Plainbore whenever but you lot just ain't worth the trouble. Should relegation still be an issue on May 3rd we will take more to Hartlepool. "Strange how we've swapped positions" How appropriate is that? We used to see you as the "big game", now we are your "Cup Final", how are the once mighty fallen? |

| There'll pretty much be a copper for every 2 or 3 City fans there tonight.
That near enough classifies as 'close protection'.
Fcking puffs. |

We used to see you as the "big game", now we are your "Cup Final", how are the once mighty fallen? De Nile, is not just a river in Egypt, Tis. Tonight will be a game 38 short miles away and your fans don't want it (on or off the pitch, by the sounds of your whining). There are absolutely no redeeming features of your club. Pathetic support, awful players, mismanaged financially, shite ground, low attendances - and seemingly, no appetite whatsoever to support your team in the fight to stay up. At the end of the day your supporters are staying away for one simple reason. You don't want to face that realisation around the 68th minute, when Argyle are 3-0 up, running at your defenders so hard your lads look like they might genuinely soil their shorts, in front of 12,000 supporters, you don't want to acknowledge that at the end of the day you support a shit club that cannot compete on any yardstick against the club you profess to hate. So you will sit at home and listen to it on the radio, backhand your wife and kick the dog for no reason as each goal goes in, loading up Exeweb and demanding Tisdale's resignation like the spineless DNBs you lot are. I mean let's be honest this is the long and short of it, essentially. Now when Argyle came to SJP earlier this season as strong underdogs, the tickets didn't even get offered to non Season Ticket holders. The supporters were there TO SUPPORT, without question. This is what makes Exeter essentially a non league, amateurish club heading back to their level - when the supporters can't even be bothered for a 45 minute drive, what hope have the players got? I would rank Torquay as a smaller club than Exeter, but they would never pull something this pathetic and gutless on Argyle. 1,500 if I remember correctly, over twice the Gutless Greeks will bring. Smaller club, but a prouder one, in spite of all the hardship they face.
