Excellent hard working win.Didn't think Chesterfield were in the same class as Scunthorpe and in spite of all the comments about the tension at the end,i never actually thought they were going to score after Argyle took the lead for the second time-they huffed and puffed, got a few crosses and long range shots in but by and large Argyle dealt with them fairly comfortably and looked the stronger side come the end.Two great strikes from Reid and credit to Cole for spotting that he was one on one with the last man for the second.Reuben could have had a few more but missed two golden chances in the first half and should have been set up by Tope in the second half.Play off position for the first time since the Holloway/Sturrock season but Accrington will not be easy on Saturday-they beat Chesterfield 3-0 and Morecambe 5-1 in two of their recent home games and nothing should be taken for granted.

Positive post from Freathy! That's one for the diary, fore shore.

We've just been treated to 2 really, really good games at HP in 3 days. Before them I would have settled for 2 points and we have 3 so that's good.

Entertainment is back on the agenda and if the numbers in attendance disappointed the support they gave did not. There was a proper atmosphere in the ground tonight and it was fantastic to be there and enjoy it.

As said it was a funny old game. Reid basically bullied the entire Chesterfield back four and scored a sensational solo goal (his other one wasn't bad either).

Their goal was deflected and Cole stood no chance whatsoever.

Lots of awesome defensive headers tonight. Nelson and Trotman battered them out with good height and distance time and time again.

There was a nice bit of interplay between Wotton and their #23 just before and just after the final whistle worthy of a mention.

Let's hope Alessandra's injury isn't bad.

Poor old Wottsy can't run, tackle, head the ball, shoot or pass any more but our best XI has got to have him in it. I think he must have sold his soul to the devil or something.

Accrington away and then Exeter at home both look winnable to me. 6 points from them and we're well and truly flying.

26th may

Bank holiday Monday too. I'm in London that weekend as it is. Could have to be extended.  drunken

I fly to menorca a few days after that, better put some money aside, May is starting to look pricy

Is that before or after you drive back from Manchester or finish tea and scones with the Queen or discuss the future of ATD on the Whitehouse lawn with Barrack or advise Putin on the Crimean situation or talk tactics with Moyes at OT or arrange the flowers for the 2014 G8 summit or etadicate world famine? Just saying like, Init!  elephant clown
