| Well hats off to Shez and the team, whod have thought that after Crimbo, post Lavery we had any chance of getting in the playoffs? Let's see if we can stay there now. Great result tonight, Reid on 18 now! Before somebody else does. |

| Great result, and not a bad run in now. Only Burton away looks tough. Got a real chance of the playoffs, especially since Oxford and Southend are in free fall (although York seem to be coming up on the rails).
Torquay won their 'must win' match against Bury. Their still up against it but it would've been curtains if they'd not won tonight. Northampton getting whumped by Rochdale good for both Torquay and Excretia. |

Who'd have thunk it eh? I had him down from the moment I first saw him play as a lazy so and so, who should have stuck at cricket, destined for conference obscurity. I REALLY hope he puts 2 or 3 consistent seasons together for whoever he plays for next - which I never thought I'd hear me say - I hope will be us. |

Yep. Not too many, myself included, would have predicted that we could have hit 7th place with 9 games to go. Quite simply we need to keep the momentum rolling. Whatever way you look at it, it's mighty impressive from Shez and the lads. Biggest shock by far though - Argyle manage to squeeze a win despite Dougies quite outrageous Match Thread title. Unbelievable, Jeff. |

I find that hilarious. The club President shags the club captain's wife and that's not a club issue. Shagging another man's wife is not news but I don't think my boss would see it that way.....boundaries you shouldn't cross.
Plus it's funny... Webb's undying love has no boundaries |

Unbelievable, Jeff. Well just thank the Lord the AFT didn't make a statement today otherwise it would definitely have been another scoreline |

| Reid had three clear chances and missed them all. The two he scored were quarter chances at best - the second was amazing. He won the ball in the air and was up against three defenders, took them all on and beat the keeper with a drive from outside of the box - our goal of the season so far. Terrific goal. They were physical, string and quick and had a lot of possession and although we should have been four up at half time, we won three points in the end through defending. It was tense at the end, really tense. They must have put 30 crosses in and we cleared them all. They hit the bar early in the second half and their goal was a clear deflection - it was a weird game. Allesandra's a worry - it was a hamstring. Tope came on and was truly shocking in comparison. We did just enough.
Two points clear of Southend now. Great stuff. |

| Good result lets hope we can kick on from here. The only good thing jb has done for our club was give Sheridan a contract and a little bit of money.
Pompey are looking very dicey for the drop now Torquay are finding some results. Which is nice. |

Pompey are looking very dicey for the drop now Torquay are finding some results. Which is nice. There's an ever-increasing possibility that on the last day of the season at Fratton we could cement a play-off place, whilst relegating Pompey at the same time. That would be a sweet sweet day. |
