I can assure you that my Sainsbury/BT/Gas/Elec...etc bills have gone up by at least 7%....so it ain't the end of the world that PAFC have done the same and they are all bigger set-ups than PAFC.

But they are necessities. An Argyle season ticket isn't.

You clearly don't have your priorities sorted, Rollo Wink

I have made, and will be making, more Home games this season than I previously anticipated I'd be able to; so I think a white membership'll do me for next season. cheers

I'll be going to away matches only and i'll be paying on the day.

If you POTD Brent gets zilch whereas if you pre-buy your ticket for away games from Argyle Brent's pension fund gets 5%.

are you sure !

I've always bought away tickets on the net from the away teams website.....and picked up on the day...easy.....okay will not be in the away end but in a stand with .....I can assure you many other Argyle fans who have done the same as me.....I've always maintained that the Argyle support is far more than the official figure....must be hard to count those that come in under the radar......at Dag & Red there must of been ten greens within a ten yard radius.......no profit for PAFC from that .....and some probably prefer that at present.

Ticket prices going up well over inflation yet again, and some fools welcome it. Should mean another £1 at least added to the POTD price.

The club will continue to lose money with this sort of governance, and the ghettoisation of the last decade continues apace. Cowdrey has always been a fan of charging as much as the club can get away with, and I would imagine that has been music to Brent's reluctant ears.

Much reduced playing budget next season by all accounts, yet much increased prices. Maybe Mastpoint et al are insisting on a bit more payment upfront. they're in the driving seat. Jimmy boy and his reign are going to be mighty unpopular soon if Sheridan doesn't work a miracle.

Cowdrey will have no say in the setting of ticket price.

Obviously not Damon. But the general chit chat will have a bearing on what the football naive chairman will think is good football business.
And history has shown throughout his career what a great businessman Jimmy is. 50 billion, 2 companies, and counting.
It's also the sort of "tough love" approach to everything that Jones spouts.

Might seem that way but isn't. Only 5 home games left and many other clubs put their offers out in Feb this year.

I think it is still the earliest Argyle have ever done this, historically, which reflects our current cash flow crisis and the need for Wrathall wonga.

I can only compare this to Derby County's early release as that's where I live now and the easiest information for me to access but the prices even as an early bird do seem quite expensive. Argyle are in at £320 for next year and Derby at £285 for adult tickets, yes that is in one of the lesser Pride Park seats but that is still cheaper however you look at it. Also if they do get promoted to the PL and you have bought your ticket by a certain time you get 50% of the price back! and also with kids tickets if you buy one with an adult ST it will cost you £25 upto 12 years old as opposed to £77 for Argyle.

Yes I know the clubs are in different places and a ticket to Derby is no good to an Argyle fan but those prices alongside constant free tickets for school do help to get Pride Park (or the iPro as it now called for £10 million over 7 years) full.

They also have the demand based ticket pricing up here but I guess that just wouldn't work in Plymouth.....

Anyway just my opinion

Indeed. They have a history and the people 'believe' it can be repeated. The club has spent all but 4 seasons in the top two tiers and have reached a European Cup semi final. It's the same at Norwich, Southampton and many others. That's the essential difference.

Feck me, £240 for an eighteen year old. Most people that age are still in education.
I am ok this season but at those prices a major rethink will required next season.

Should be ten pounds if you show your student union card, it doesn't take long for people to lose the habit of going to football.

Should be £12 rocking up on the day, if you show your membership of the human race card. If Germany can do it, so can this bunch of mill owners and bankers.
You're right Iggy, football is a habit, and even long term fans drop off when they're abused. Far more things under the sun and a darn sight cheaper. Two thirds of Argyle's gate are concessions.

"if you show your membership of the human race card"

Guess you Gargs would be ok as long as you all kept your shoes on and wore mittens.

Again you boys are frothing away when you have got next to fook all to moan about. The mighty ECFC have put up the ST prices, particularly for kids, when a double ST holder of 40 years plus sent his application back with a covering letter explaining why he wasn't renewing, we're shiite, we might be in the Conference, we're shiite, the prices have gone up despite us not having won a home game since the real shiite were in town, we're shiite, etc, etc, the reply in justification pointed out that we were in fact just "12 POINTS OFF THE PLAY OFFS".

You think you got problems?

How many coming Tis

Tickets: Plymouth Argyle v Exeter City

Plymouth Argyle v Exeter City
Home Park
Tuesday 25th March, 7.45pm
Sky Bet League 2

Our away trip to Plymouth Argyle will be all-ticket for City fans and sales are now open to all fans known to the club and on our database.

However there will be no staggered priority sales so all known fans can buy tickets from now on. There will be a maximum of four available per person and, to satisfy the safety and security arrangements, all orders will be verified before dispatch.

Fans will be able to purchase in what are now the normal ways:

Anyone not on the club database can present photo and address ID at the club and be added to the system.

Around 1000 tickets in Blocks 22 & 23 of the Away Section have been released to us. Further tickets will be available to cover our requirements but only if we sell the initial allocation. There is a small dedicated Family Section within Block 22. This is strictly for those families and adults accompanying children.

Wheelchair users are asked to contact the Plymouth Argyle Ticket Office directly on 0845 872 3335 to buy their tickets in advance.

Prices for the game are as follows:
