Two poor sides with England at least trying to do summat, the Danes have nothing to play for, they will be on the beach this summer. Sterling has done ok with the midfield doing a bit if ponderously, now Hoddle is talking bull poo, "box threat"? Henderson and Wilshire both got into the box as much as anybody while Rooney has given the ball away as usual and Gerard has watched the Danes stroll by, he is not a defensive midfielder and is beginning to lok old and slow, We shall be home before the postcards if this mob are the basis of our WC effort. We shall need young'uns with great engines who can pass the ball forwards once the temperatures rise.

Another one-on-one chance for the Danes, good save from Hart.

Wilshere troubles me. He is top drawer ability-wise, but it just looks to me that his career will be littered with more 'time off' than Darren Anderton. If there's a knock to be had, Jack'll get it. 15 England games and only played 90 minutes in two of 'em.

Only watched the last 10 minutes but how many chances does Welbeck need to score? We have some seriously shite strikers if we have to rely on this shite Man Utd reserve striker. Think LT is correct about our chances in Brazil- we just don't seem to score (prediction as soon as I post one will go in off Welbeck's ass).

Welbeck and Sturridge are far too similar to be on the field at the same time and Sturridge is far better, Nathan Redmond is in turn better than Sterling but is consigned to the U21s, Wayne Routledge is better than both but doesn't get a sniff like Dyer, playing for a Welsh club can't help. Cenner back is where we will struggle, I like Smalling but he has not kicked on while Jones is more brittle than Wilshire, Woy needs to choke it back and speak nicely to Terry. Gerrard just ain't got it any mopre, great range of passing against the likes of Denmark on the Beach but the Italians and Uruguay will not give him the time he now needs.

I just hope Woy shows some blocks and gets Barkley, Lallana and Livermore in rather than going with the ageds and trying to nick results like he did with so much success in Sarf.............NOT!
