Anyone know? |

12 points from 2nd/3rd (with a game in hand over 2nd) and 13 from top spot. 13 games to go plus we have still to play four of the top five (3 of them at home).. A long shot maybe but nothing would surprise me in this league!

| A game in hand of Southend & only 2 points behind. Shall we aim for automatic promotion? Nah. But aiming for Fleetwood & even Oxford isn't impossible. So much for various of us - including me - doubting whether Sheridan should stay earlier in the season! |

So much for various of us - including me - doubting whether Sheridan should stay earlier in the season! The last 3 games are 11-1 to us. A GD improvement of +10. As you say, a playoff place (at the least) should be within our ambitions. Sheridan seems to have found his preferred formation. Wotton may well be a key factor in that! I'm a happy chappie tonight (not that I'll take my eye off all the other shenanigans though). |

| Don't get me wrong Morecombe were shit, but this was far and away the most fluent confident and impressive Home Park performance for a fair few years. The start wasn't really representative of what was to come, but once we got in to gear it was a throwback to the halcyon days of when Home Park was truly a fortress. Not seen a performance like that at home for years. I'm well oiled, but will now carry on ! |

No Three at the back and 2 wing backs. Its a 3-5-2 formation, hence the three centre backs. |

| Well, bugger me senseless and call me Doris. Came in from the golf course and saw a 5 - 0 scoreline. A double take was necessary. They've got themselves into a position where the play offs are a possibility, confidence is high and they're scoring goals.
Still work to do though, so I'm not getting too carried away. |

Probably when Newell was a size zero and Webby had no facial hair. |

Not that long ago, a few months, against Lincoln in the FA Cup. |

| Arise Sir Shez!
A very key moment of this match came in the second minute when Trotman just managed to divert a low cross away from the Morecambe player at the far post who would have had a completely open goal at his mercy. If that had gone in and Argyle had struggled to equalise it could have been a very different game but such are the margins between a disaster a la York and an exhibition like today.Parsons was very influential early on,he certainly likes to get forward and his shot was only parried by the keeper to Berry, who slotted home with aplomb.I actually thought Morecambe were quite useful going forward, they had quite a few half chances which came to nothing but their vulnerability was exposed when Hourihane robbed their player in midfield and weighted a perfect through ball for Alessandra to score.Argyle were fairly comfortable in the second half and the crowd amused themselves with some baiting of the keeper, who i seem to remember has been the butt in the past.Nelson scored with a header from a corner and Shez made a couple of substitutions which led directly to the fourth goal from Harveys ball to Guerrieri.Morecambe were demoralised by this time and Alessandra had time and space to finish the rout.I thought Young and Hourihane were outstanding in midfield-it has to be said that the presence of Wotton seems to give them licence to do their work further up the pitch,on this evidence the 3-5-2 is ideal. All good on the field,no reaction to Wrathall as far as i could tell, but the problem with this darn club is that you never know what's coming next.A day to be enjoyed today though. |

| WOW !!! I'm still in shock, it reminded me of when we used to be a good team i might even go again Seriously though, a fantastic performance, well done to Sherry and the lads. I notice we've closed the gap to two points with a game in hand, do we dare to dream ? |
