| Who leaked the story to the Herald anyway? Was it one of the inner circle? Argyle's press release seemed to be in response to the Herald piece. |

Confused as ever. I meant the CT meeting where Mr Newell had to be dragged out kicking and screaming by the enormous security guards. The one where he then "accidentally" left his mob behind that could have been recording in his absence. |

Nothing wrong in being polite with face to face meetings. Tactics and good manners. Demonstrations are more of an opportunity to give it a bit. To be effective, manking is something that takes years. It's a battle of attrition. Few people faint at the sight of an extreme mank on the odd Monday morning. that just comes across as bad temper. It has to be done over years in a considered way to wear people down. In the end they move on. McCauley did. A bit like the Yanks have had enough of the Afghans manking. Rome wasn't built in a day. Patience is a virtue. |

| So an 'understanding of the business decision' is the only comment on the subject from Chauffeur No.1.
Maybe if Ginsters offered us £500k to change the home strip to red, the New England Tourist Board offered £500k to change the name to Plymouth Pilgrims then they could be acceptable too? |

I meant Mr Sleeves was confused. I was my usual perspicacious self. The only one who was out of order at that CT Q&A was Mr Brent. He said very clearly at the beginning of the meeting that he would not get involved in any comments about the pasoti v ATD war. Everyone behaved very politely and there was not a whisper about this. Until the end when Mr Brent couldn't help himself & in a closing comment came down very explicitly on the side of his 'friends'. It was at that same meeting where I asked for the second time - following me asking it on the pasoti Q&A - whether he expected to make more money from his ownership than he put into the club. And for the second time he didn't answer the question. |

Do you reckon he's actually party to a better picture of the finances and TW's investment to "understand the business decision" or is this another "I've seen the magnificent two tiered stand" moment? Anyway, to get on this league table? Cross forum outing worth 'owt? Do the phone calls have to be direct or pathetic malicious prank calls count? |

Maybe if Ginsters offered us £500k to change the home strip to red, the New England Tourist Board offered £500k to change the name to Plymouth Pilgrims then they could be acceptable too? So the chauffeur, inorder to fully understand the business decision, must have been told precisely the extent of Tony Wrathall's investment, how much and for what, the precise scale of the club's cash-flow crisis and debt situation, Brent's willingness to further underwrite the accumulating losses and what plan B is should there be no further outside investment. Would be nice if supporters were treated with the same candour. Or is it the case that he actually hasn't a Scooby? |

| Should Wrathall increase his influence and shareholding in the future, would be interesting to see what will become of Superfans who have worked so hard to gain positions at the club with their shameless, brown nosing and underhand tactics |

Good point. At least Webby has put his cards on the table (sort of) as to what he thinks of the Wrathall return. Nool will wait for a while longer to see which way the wind's blowing I recks. |

| Should TW increase his influence any number of things could happen. PASB abolished, President booted out, thorough cleansing of the directors box, anyone of those things would amuse me greatly.
Of course one can't rule out the use more psycophancy, and cunning to make oneself a usefull idiot to a new emerging regime.
But how likely is this? Who does TW think is a feckin dick? All the Superfans? Or is he in cahoots with one or more, hence his recent re-emergence.
Who knows, will be very entertaining though guaranteed. |
