Thailand, home of the Brit Paedo and the finest street food in the world, got to be really unlucky to get rained on in Feb, perhaps it's god paying back for all the dead heads that infest the place nowadays, used to be idyllic as little as twenty years ago, now I would rather go to Spain if they weren't being so shitty about Gib, so Portugal it has to be.

I was in Thailand traveling twenty two years ago, after watching the two fat bikers last night I said to my missus that I would love to go back but I wouldn't want my memories of the place tarnished. Pattaya was a meat market back then and before but the north was awesome, Laos and we even went to Burma when we were lost in the golden triangle on a motorbike. We went to villages where you didn't see a white person for months if you did they were usually Yank DEA. If I do return it would probably just be Bangkok and I wouldn't take the missus.

I'll stick to St Ives, beautiful beaches and scenery, harbourside pubs and restaurants and 99% of the people still say please and thankyou, what more do you need ?

And there lies the Crux of the problem. You "read" about an area but dont see for yourself. There is no way on earth that Peados operate here.

No Budget Travellers in Pattaya. Yes its cheap here but expect to go through £100 a day very easily

I just mentioned what I have read. It doesn't effect my decision any way. You wouldn't go anywhere if you based decisions on what you read or hear. I have been all around this crazy world and been to some crazy places that people wouldn't dream of going based on what they have read.
