Chris Martin supports exeter city,  but i doubt he needs the pr stunt like bastile need to promote a gig in Plymouth

Naturally he will plug his band, the gig, the Brits whether they win or not which is excepted but more importantly he will plug and big up HHP as much as he can under orders to try and drum up the sheep.

that at the end of the day is the joke the club has become. Regardless i wont be listening to it so he can plug a holiday for two in syria for all i care

You're making assumptions Angry. By the evidence of it he's a real fan. The club are promoting themselves and him hand in hand, why shouldn't they? Do Watford scowl at their connections with Sir Elton John? Did Stoke not just hand Mr Robbie Williams the key to the city? Why not try and link two fan bases, Woody's (and Bastille's) and our own?

I'm not sure what Chris Webb has to do with it all either? They tweet occasionally and maybe share a picture or two, but there's no conspiracy here.

He's yet to big up HHP in an interview, he's stayed away from talking about the politics of the club from what I've heard. And maybe that's a conscious decision or maybe he just doesn't care. And if he was to say he liked the plans and bigged it up maybe that is just his opinion on it all. He's surely entitled to that? Or are positive opinions on HHP censored on here?

they are not a rock band in anyway shape or forum. For starters they themsleves cant make up their minds what genre they are and say as much lol Plus to be a rock band you tend to use guitars not reliy heavily on keyboards

Not that I give much of a shite about the lad or his overrated band, he HAS endorsed HHP previously in an interview with the Herald.

So hopefully he stays off that topic, otherwise you would wonder who has their claws into him, who pulled the strings to get him on, and for what reasons etc. - Angry just seems to be a few steps ahead in that cynicism.

As for publicising his band's gigs, who really cares about that? Is he commenting as Chris Wood, drummer of internationally recognised poptune band Bastille, or as Season Ticket holder Row x seat 378. Presumably the former, as he might have a few interesting tales his interesting life to say.

Hopefully he has a good time reflecting on the players and giving his opinions, like a great many of real fans would.

I hope he sticks to the footy myself that comes before his band or endorsing the clusterfuck otherwise what is the point tuning in. The club are wanking themselves silly literally over him at the moment which if you read the twitter page its beyond creepy and slighty strange lol.

To be fair to the lad he isnt the first celeb the club has latch on to their success for PR for the club. A few years ago it was Tom Daley who was given his own bronze letterbox that no one has ever used same with Ruta whatshername. Wayne Sleep was given a 6 game season ticket when he came out the jungle and im going out on a limb here and say footy isnt his sport and last year it was that rower who won a bronze like tom in the olympics his name escapes me atm.
