Animal Farm was proclaimed a Republic, and it became necessary to elect a President. There was only one candidate, Napoleon, who was elected unanimously.
Hm. An election with only one candidate who's elected unanimously—it sounds like this Animal Farm republic is looking a lot more like a dictatorship. Moooo Gaaaa Beee |

Not at all. The supposed 5,000 members and very little posting especially on football matters in recent months, just a few newbie kids like Pilgrimjosh posting all the time and Cobi reminding us of his love for Luke most days. The doubts and cynicism towards the new development is growing considerably with only the chosen few and their handful of supporters still maintaining it is all for the best. Younger posters like Greensam and SPpowell are now starting to ask questions after they have considered views from both sides of the divide. If it wasn't for the dozens of banned and disaffected former Pasotiites no longer posting on the farm the 2 Ians would now be swamped by a tidal wave of opposition over there. Next to be banned as a perceived troll? My money is on Gaspergomez or withmenace. Jameson has gone very quiet, Hooper briefly crawled out of his hole only to make a complete dick of himself again this week and was promptly put firmly in his place by graham Clarke and others. The self important twat still clings to the belief that there is a purpose in the PASB which 90% of the tiny numbers of supporters who might have shown some interest in it originally now think is a busted flush, but whatever, in his little world it is an opportunity to do some brown nosing. The more I think about the more pissed off I feel and think we have been stitched up. A poxy little grandstand pushed forward onto the mayflower terrace while part of the footprint of the exisiting stand is used to profit outside people. Both corners of the ground where spectators used to stand built on and that space lost for ever. Behind the stand limitless space for future expansion yet we are crammed in with a back alley behind us with no hope to ever expand. The Cottage field excuse is just that. One day it will be built on. I could go on but whats the point. |

Spot on, i was thinking exactly the same yesterday after reading posts from Sam and Spowell, those two among others have definitely been gradually removing the blinkers recently(i once was blind but now i see). | John Lloyd has written a couple of decent posts on pasoti and already had the site owner defending JB. The one on not being able to ask questions on pasoti is quite funny also. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]xmastree also upsets the owner of the official club forum by asking if there's any point in the PASB elections- [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

| It's all getting a bit too much for old it won't be long before he flounces from his own forum and spends all his time posting on exeweb. |

| He was quite happy to let the internet go a few months back, until it dawned on him that without controlling Pasoti, he has nothing to offer. So he will have no qualms at all about discussion vanishing from his forum as it just becomes one long Argyle "news and merchandising" opportunity just like the Baggo'. You'm not a proper fan if you don't sit quietly and listen. Won't be long before there are advertising videos and all sorts, just like the nightmare one has to wade through on local newspaper websites. The Herald website has now gone the same way as their newspapers now in my household. I refuse to put up with their MB rich videos and and advertising that are almost impossible to avoid without special software. |

| Interesting to note many more moderate posters are now showing their dissatisfaction with the development. Not so long ago it was just ejh, grumpy, with-menace, jerryattricjanner, myself and one or two more.
Perhaps the delay to this project has allowed the reality of the crapness of the ministand to sink in. I expect the likes of Don't Panic et al will be along later to attempt to counter the growing discontent.

But if you want to find out anything you have to ask Brent face to face |

| As if brent is going to speak to fans face to face one on one it ain`t going to happen. Then we have posty telling us there has been plenty of Q and As like the last on at homepark were bugger all people turned up, I wonder why.
I can`t see newell having a flounce he is needed more than ever by the club to control pasoti. All that will happen is a few people will be banned as usual. |

| I actually do believe that it is possible to speak with Mr Brent face to face. I have heard good things about how open to such things the board is.

It's good to see. The one thread is a real backlash against a certain poster and his 'with us or against us' tactics currently. "Oh you don't like James Brent? You don't like the way he has handled this development. Why don't you buy him out then, with your millions, and do things differently. Why don't you get from behind your keyboard, organise a large mob with pitchforks, and turn him out of Home Park. Or how about he liquidates the club - is that what you want!" You can't bully hundreds of online fans into accepting a permanent restricted capacity they don't feel is adequate for their football club - It is as simple as that. |

You seem obsessed with posting on a site you don't like also. ATD is not very bothered about footfall. |

You must assume this forum is obsessed with the Herald too, the way posters here quote their links and discussions, and add their own views. Tut tut. The difference is several posters here admit to reading both forums, the moderators aren't 6 year old schoolgirls who edit out any reference to 'the other site', and everyone here doesn't pretend that Pasoti doesn't exist, or that they don't read it. And by virtue of the fact that Napoleon and Squealer will ban anyone who dares poke their nose into their clique's business, many here don't have the right of direct discussion. |

| I love the "cabal" being mentioned all the time! others may view it as organised opposition to an unpopular plan. The cabal is "underhand" and "furtive" it's members being "freaks and weirdos", (apart from Graham Clark of course), none of the cabal talk to anybody face to face like "real people". The guys a feckin eijit. |

| IJN Post subject: Re: 200% article about James Brent and where we are...PostPosted: Thu Feb 13, 2014 1:49 pm User avatar Joined: Thu Nov 29, 2012 9:15 pm If you want to debate ANYTHING on this site you can. Simply don't expect blind acceptance of what you are saying! Simple really. I read a lot if forums and social media sites and the way this cabal latch on to something regarding JB is akin to people with torches shouting 'burn him' in the old Frankenstien movies. I've even seen him compared to Ronnie and Reggie Kray. As I say, in my book it's bullying via keyboard, but this site will continue to allowing anything that is legal. I've seen Mr Lloyd try this before with his 'I expect this thread to be locked' comment, and as I have said it never was. Pick what site you want, the choice is entirely yours. All I can promise is that lies and untruths will never be allowed on this one! ........................................... But Deepthroating Windsor Boy types are just fine and a 'co owner' who has been caught out bullying club employees and asking a real friend to hack someone's email account is too ? |

| I've yet to be on a forum with as much squabbling and polar opposite views as this one. It would be the worst cabal ever. |
