I heard Sparksy talking about James Brent (and Martyn Starnes) doing an interview/ or Q&A on radio Devon to discuss the business side of Argyle- Steve Davey suggested they may talk about the mini-stand.

Why would they talk about that they are only building it because they wouldnt be allowed to build the clusterfuck. Future custodians of PAFC will curse James Brent for his greed and for handicapping the club.

Martyn Starnes told PASTA l;ast night that delay was due to Kier needing to reach agreements with subcontractors.

Nobody at meeting has mentioned need for the units to be let so maybe JB is prepared to take a punt, but then there is no mention of new lease to be signed with PCC (with or without buy back clause) or the planning approval conditions such as Seagrave Rd junction which there is no sign of.

Then again PASTA were told by JB last january that all revenues from stand except one or two retail units would be going to PAFC.

Is it true that JB told PASTA last January that all revenues from stand except one or two retail units would be going to PAFC?!

Can you confirm that he said that all revenues from stand except one or two retail units would be going to PAFC?!

Because if it's true that JB said that all revenues from stand except one or two retail units would be going to PAFC then it brings into question all sorts of things about the club!

The first thing it brings into question is his competence. Further things it brings into question are his vows of "Integrity, honesty, financial stability".

I just hope the claim that he said that all revenues from stand except one or two retail units would be going to PAFC is wrong.

Surely, if he said that all revenues from stand except one or two retail units would be going to PAFC then that is what will happen. Surely.

(PS Could a dentist be construed as a "retail unit" inasmuch as they sell services, teeth etc?)

Bugger! Whilst I was posting the above twaddle, I missed Mr Brent being interviewed by Sparksy pre-match.

Decent ground with an ambitious owner and the skys the limit, the reason argyle fans gave up on the club in the championship, was the total lack of ambition shown by stapledon and his crap board over the iminent building of a new grand stand, what speccy is proposing is a plainmoor style mini stand, which says fourth division and be grateful.

And this from the same poster leapt out at me "he couldn't say he was certain that the whole redevelopment would definitely be built, but it was a million miles closer than any previous plan. He said there were certain obstacles in the way including funding, local objections, planning granted etc but insisted he was very confident all will be overcome and it would progress".

I suspect there are reams of issues tied up in that brief statement.

My post above was me being ironic/sarcastic/ or something. I know that it was a given that all except a couple would go to the club's income.
