The media, assisted by many of those that the stories are about, are creating a new slant to homophobia by overplaying the sexuality news card that people are sick of hearing about. How many pages, how many days and how many stories did the Herald run from dear old Tom's coming out?

The vast majority in society accept that being gay is normal, so why do the media insist on giving such normal and everyday 'things' the headlines?

I would suggest that the more prominent the headlines the more the minority that like to dish the abuse, abuse.

The fact that the Sun were about to "out" Tom Daley speaks volumes for the hypocrisy of the media. I know a couple of journos and I would,nt trust either of them with my missus, my money or even to look after my pint, shallow self centred winkers the lot of them. And when there is a real story like the war in Iraq and Tony Blair they keep their slimy mouths shut but never mind lets hear who's gay on strictly come dancing.   

It's time that a few well known gay footballers came out in unison so that the don't have to face whatever it is they're afraid of alone.

There must be dozens of professional footballers who are gay so they must be afraid of abuse from cnuts like Lord Tisdale who described our possible 4th round tie against Brighton as against the gay boys or something similar.

No wonder these footballers are reticent when there are still in this day and age winkers like Tis on the terraces.

If you banned all the Gays and the ones shagging other peoples wives you would not have enough left to form a team.

Despite what our revered oracle Rab seems to think I find it hard to imagine that many fans could give a shiite one way or the other, certainly not enough to try getting abusive chants going. I feel enough was done in this country when chutney ferreting was made legal back in the day, although I do get the 'ump when this, along with a multitude of other issues, are constantly rammed down me throat by an assortment of pressure groups.
