I'm hardly 'proud' of selling Jamie Mackie for £500k, FFS. We sold about ten players for more than that in the last decade..

I doubt it. I see Oakley is on the mend, and will probably return for a few games at te back end of the season. Exeter's purple years have been due to 2 or 3 talented players, and we all know who they were. Oakley is one of them that is too good for L2. His return will probably keep them from the drop. You really do have to be the most awful team to go down in this league. Even Fletcher Argyle under Brent with not one talented player at all couldn't  achieve that.
