| No because we squared them up pretty sharpish! Probably wasn't the reluctant lender more like the fans themselves but they were paid. |

Taxi for tis [/quote] Good to see the old time muppets crawling out from under their rocks now the mighty Muff have managed to haul themselves a whole one place above lil ol' Exeter City, now you can set your 'Big Club' sights on the likes of Dagenham, Morecambe, Newport and giants like Burton Albion. |

Happy to.
Ok, so you sold all your best players then finished up £17 million in debt, slid all the way down the leagues so that you had to rely on the worst two teams in order to help you survive by skin of your decaying and blackened teeth!
And you think that is something to crow about ????????
Your club is the League's ultimate underachievers, the population of the whole of Cornwall and half of Devon to draw support from with your only competition the mighty Turks, yet all you can do is try to big yourselves up because you got more money for a few players than tiny ol' Exeter City yet still finished up as a tool for a property developer and the plaything for the likes of Newell, Webb, your club president, and Nikk the money lender.
You must be soooo proud.
ps. Do the St.John Ambulance ask for their fee up front nowadays? I'm hardly 'proud' of selling Jamie Mackie for £500k, FFS. We sold about ten players for more than that in the last decade.. You're the dipshit who brought it up as a sign of Argyle being an inferior club to Exeter bleedin City. I'm just on hand to remind you that a) we bought one of those players off you for a quarter of what we sold him for b) we made a valuable profit off those sales, despite the frighteningly weak bargaining position, and c) those player sales piss on any business Exeter City has ever done. Are there any other facts I can help you on while I am here? |

I'm not shore this is really your kinda game. The point "dipshit" is that you are perpetuating the age old Argyle fallacy which causes the vast majority of 'old skool' gargs so much pain and embarrassment, having to draw comparisons with ECFC to make yourselves feel like a 'big club'. We at lil ol' Exeter City laugh at both the Torquay, for obvious reasons, and you Gargs because you have no one else to berate, nobody else cares about you but us, you try and big up the 'Donkeyard Derby' but Pompey don't even recognise it exists at all, even the Gas aren't bothered, you are a nowhere club 110 miles from anywhere and the only argument you have got is that you are bigger than Exeter City. Word up sonny, we know that, we have lived with that for generations, we don't care just as long as fools like you and Newell cling to it as if it makes you whole. You are back now snapping away like a Bichon Frise bitch just because you have managed to sneak a place above us, where you bin for the last four years when we have been luxuriating in our Devon's No.1 status? Licking your own nuts I guess and waiting your chance to crush us once more with your scintillating banter, I accede, yield and offer up in supplication, you are without doubt the mahooosivest club in the history of football, in Devon. Now go tell the boys of the 6.57 that you are bigger than ECFC, I'm shore they will be well impressed. Muff Argh, the biggest city never to have a top league side, never won anything above the Third Division, but bigger than Exeter and Torquay so that's all good. |

Sorry what is your point, other than to hear the sound of your own voice? I couldn't take the one in bold very seriously at all. Of the two of us, which one of us frequents a rival message board and argues 24/7. We're all obsessed with Exeter? You're like that X Isle pleb, pompous, self righteous and irritating, only you support Exeter. As forum characters go, it couldn't possibly get any worse. |

Oh dear Tis |

I feel for you Chemmy, this ejh dude must be a serious embarrassment for you with his inability to see what a tw@ he is making of himself, he doesn't seem capable of differentiating between a Championship club in decline selling the family silver for tuppence and a Conference club on the up losing one of their better players but still moving up.
His unerring need to draw comparisons between the mighty PAFC and us is quite touching, has he not worked out yet that we know we minnows and will get butt fooed by the big lads in the showers? Doesn't he realise that Muff offered up the ol' ring piece when they should have been one of the big boys? Zero class or capability.
Not sure if he has noticed that as far as kids are concerned it is Exeter City who will be in the hat for the Premier League U21 quarter final draw along with Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City.
Tyler Who did he say was on loan at Salisbury?
You boys must be sooooooo proud.
One of the big boys? Are you braindead, or do you not know what it is to be in administration, with HMRC working on closing you down as an example to the rest of the football community.
Trust me, it is much more difficult position to sell a player than being 'a conference club on the up'.
Why not discuss the £10m+ player sales we received in '08? More than the entirety of Exeter City FC with Uri Geller and Michael Jackson thrown in has ever been worth. He does know what it like as Exeter have had more than their fair share of financial troubles, Tis just forgets things, even things he says. Is our ground rubbish or traditional, he doesn't know depends who is asking. What a knobber. |

Nailed on in my book, still it gives your 'tards a slightly better excuse than usual for one off the wrist, glad to be of service, I think. |

| I doubt it. I see Oakley is on the mend, and will probably return for a few games at te back end of the season. Exeter's purple years have been due to 2 or 3 talented players, and we all know who they were. Oakley is one of them that is too good for L2. His return will probably keep them from the drop. You really do have to be the most awful team to go down in this league. Even Fletcher Argyle under Brent with not one talented player at all couldn't achieve that. PS.... I wouldn't jump up and down in delight if Exeter got relegated. Why would I ? it's irrelevant. |

Heh heh, course not, cos every week we are not the second result you look for and the last four years trailing in our wake has not been the most painful in your sad Garg life. Yeah, right! Oakley ain't a factor, Tis Stale is the problem. |
