The 3 designs to choose from are basically much the same and pretty boring and surprisingly Porky himself is very scathing of the choice given for Herald readers to vote for.

He's dead set against these designs and is championing a design of shirt made by FBT or Football Thailand who are a huge sports goods company from Thailand. Nothing unusual in that really unless you are armed with the knowledge that a managing director of FBT UK Ltd. is none other than Mr Oliver Stapleton  Suspect

The same Mr Oliver Stapleton who owns Goals where the fansfest is moving to once the grandstand is demolished  Suspect

Not normally being the 1st to defend Mr Newell, I think you will find that FBT UK Ltd ceased trading after being stung by Heaney in the supply of kit for Truro City. FBT (Thailand) has no connection to Olly Stapleton who was manager at Goals (not MD) for a time before moving to Newcastle where he is now one of the Commercial team at NUFC

FBT UK was definitely connected to FBT Thailand, it was its UK division.

Just pointing out that Mr Newell seems not to mind dealing with people when it suits him.

Apologies for the out dated info.

No need to apologise Jock, hard to keep up with the incestuous nature of football!
