| This is only a rumour and I can supply no proof or evidence to back it up but I have heard from a very good source that FES has gone in liquidation.
Apparently Nik has pumped £600k into Argyle's coffers but had neglected to tell the other executive directors what he was up to.
Argyle are being told right now.
I'd say this has a 99% chance of being bang on the button but you can move it to Rumours if you wish. |

| I hope, if this is true, we won't have people gleeful and triumphant as Nikkkkkkkk has a family and employees who will suffer. Keep it classy ATD. |

| If this is true it will knock a bloody great hole in Argyle's financial planning and that is dodgy enough already.
It's not good news for anybody. |

| For Argyle it was only probably delaying the inevitable. Employees have my sympathy, it's bad enough to lose a job but when it's lost for the reasons as given, then they must be livid!

| If the direct implication of nikkk throwing hundreds of thousands of £££'s at an ailing football club, is the demise of his business, then he really is a plonker of the highest order. |

| If it's true then I certainly don't feel glee or triumph.
It does show that having someone investing who follows their heart rather than their head is a dangerous game though and if he has fecked up his company by paying off Brent's debt then he's a silly man.
Bad news for Argyle aswell if one of our main sponsors has gone bust and can't provide the sponsorship money the club would have planned for.

| Also I see no reason why this thread should be deleted or moved, the OP has stated from the off its purely a rumour. |

| If it is true then i am not surprised in the slightest. As i have brought out countless times before someone who suddenly appears and behaves like a weekend millionaire and a limelight hogger out of the blue then one always suspects their true credentials. And in this case my initial assessment of the gentleman in question has been proved right. Unfortunately the easiest place to behave like this and get away with it is inside a big city that behaves like a backwater Hicktown. Not surprised in the least. |

Exactly - and to think he was being mooted as a possible future owner post Brent. Anything on the farm about this? |

| I wish someone could post it in the rumours section just to see how long it lasts, i bet it would be gone before you could say ' mural for Nikkkkkkk' |

| Well at least i don't have to sit in a ground defaced with Money Lender logos. And also it could spell the end for that stupid and ridiculous family area smack bang in the corner so i suppose every grey cloud has a silver lining |

| A few chaotic director decisions seem to have been made recently with directors being brought on board only to resign or be removed within days. |
