Scouting future opposition - Harrogate Railway vs. Farsley

Geddon Janners. Up in Leeds for a few days with work so currently enjoying a pint (£2.70) in the Dagger, the social club for Harrogate Railway and looking forward to a nearly local derby against Farsley in the Doodson Sport Cup 2nd round.

Lovely friendly people, cheap supporters club beer and a fiver to get in.

Frickley Athletic tomorrow

I can take a few pics of the Directors if you like. They're in a roped off area in the corner enjoying a finger buffet.

For those of you keen on Yorkshire non league football Farsley beat Harrogate 4-2 on pens after an entertaining 0-0 draw. Even here I can't escape bloody binary football with no attacking edge! Enjoyed the hospitality of the locals immensely.

On route to Frickly Athletic now for their Doodson Cup game against Balper from Nottinghamshire. Frickley seems to be in a rough part of Wakefield so looking forward to glancing sympathetically at the locals (without catching eye contact of course).

If anybody gets cnuty just give them the 'hairy' eyebrow.

1-0 to Frickley at HT but not deserved. Belper had a goal not given even though it was well over the line.

Frickley social club is good but it would make a far better dentists
